ACCIDENTAL PHONE CALL

/|\

Y/n got a flip phone. She got her friends' numbers, but...

IN Y/N'S HOUSE

Y/n was busy revising on her desk. She hated it but keeping up a standard as the eldest sibling had to lead to some things. She looked over at the small, coffee table, her phone laying on its front. Y/n rose from her chair, grabbed the phone on the table and plonked over on the bed. Opening and closing the phone with its little CLICK CLACKS. Most people would make fun of old style flip phones but Y/n was still happy to have it.

Trying out differing ringtones was especially fun. Listening to different sounds satisfied her for the meantime. The next thing was scrolling through contacts. Six entries, including family.

The phone beeped on Kurapika. And thus, Y/n raised the phone to her ear, pretending to make a phone call.

RRRRIINGGG

Y/n gasped, panicking and not knowing what to do.

'H-hello?'

Y/n abruptly hung up.

*PANICK*

Wandering around the room and fidgeting, wondering what Kurapika was going to do.

He probably hates me.

The phone rang again.

Kurapika's House

'Uh... Hello? Y/n?'

'Um.. I assume you called by accident but I called back to make sure you're OK. If you are, make any sound.'

...   ...

'Th-the number you have dialed is turned off or um...

no longer in use.'

Y/N?

'I'm sorry, I called by accident.'

'Oh no, it's alright!'

I guess she can talk a little over the phone. Maybe because she's alone?

'So um... bye.'

'Huh?'

THAT WAS FAST!

'Yeah... OK.'

Kurapika ended the call and opened the bedroom window.

'HER VOICE IS GORGEOUS!'

'SHUT UP!'

BACK IN Y/N'S HOUSE

'Sorry, I called by accident.'

'Oh... OK.'

'So... bye.'

'Huh? Yeah..'

The phone clicked off as Y/n lay sideways on the bed. Turning over and kicking her legs, repeatedly screaming into her pillow.

'Keep it down.'
