I blink a couple times for there is a blinding light
Am I dead is this heaven

My eyes adjust and I look around there is a heart monitor and my arms are bandaged up

I look around to find my mother sleeping soundly in a chair next to me
I am alive

I try to sit up but am still to weak
My mother bolts awake

She starts talking, crying, and shouting
Clutching me close to her bosom tightly

I'm crying and apologizing profusely I tell I was just trying to stop the chaos inside me

The rest of my family and friends rush in hugging and kissing and yelling while and crush me again

Everyone went home beside my mother of course she lays beside me holding my hand tightly

I sit there in silence and my kind starts to buzz with those pesky too many thoughts

I know what path lies ahead of I listen to these thoughts again

I must fight and not give up for I have a lot to live for and these thoughts do not

I focus on the beeping and what it mean for me
