Day 17 "Hot Cocoa"

3rd Pov

Dream was currently working on a new recipe of hot cocoa. One that is cat friendly, since he has learned that nekos can’t have the same things that full cats can't have, but he really wants George to try hot cocoa. So, he had been working on a cat-friendly hot cocoa for the last three hours. They all have ended up not tasting quite right. He had a good base down, which would be almond milk not exactly tasting like normal milk but better then water. He even found some cat friendly marshmallows. Which he had tried and they tasted really similar. Right now he is working on the mixes, though, all the false chocolate mixes so far have tasted horrible. But, he is powering through for his new friend who he has developed a crush on over the month they have lived together. Speaking of which, George is currently playing with patches. They usually chase each other around the house until they both get tired in George's cat form. Though, they play with the toys together or play fight which is what they are currently doing, and fortunately for patches she is winning.

Dreams Pov 

I did it. Finally, fucking did it. It tastes really similar and is cat friendly, so George can drink it and if patches decides she wants a sip she can have it too. Now my plan can go into action. Basically I'm going to take George outback, with some hot coco since it is raining, and sit on the porch away from the rain. Then while we drink hot coco I'll confess. Let's just hope my plan works.

3rd Pov

Dream goes into the living room where George and patches are fighting, and laughs at their antics upon witnessing them. He then picks up patches off of George. 

"Hey, George, can you go and wait for me by the back door?" dream says, and George meows before scurrying off to the door. Dream then sets the restless patches down. Who jumps onto the couch and goes to sleep while dream goes back into the kitchen and prepares two cups of the cat friendly cocoa and goes outside. George, back into his normal form, follows behind him. They then both sit down on the chairs underneath the roof of the back porch.

"Ok, George, you know how I told you about hot cocoa?" dream asks, handing George the hot beverage.

"Yes, I do," George says, peering down at the cup and then back at dream, "what about it?"

"Well I made a cat friendly one, which is what you have right now so you can try it," Dream says gesturing to the glass. George then takes a sip moaning at how delicious it is. (not sexual) 

"This is so good dream!" George cheers. 

"I'm glad you like it," Dream says, sipping his own cup. "I actually need to tell you something," Dream sets his cup on his lap looking down at it before speaking, "I like you, as in romantically like you, and was wondering if you wanted to be my boyfriend?" Dream does not look back up at George, simply waiting for him to reply, and thankfully he does soon after.

"I would love to be your boyfriend!" George replies, smiling, while looking at Dream.

"Really!" he cries happily.

"Yes, really!" George says with equal the excitement.

"So, that means I have a neko boyfriend," Dream says. George finishes him off by saying

"And seemingly over a nice hot cup of cocoa."
