Nene woke up to the piercing sound of silverwares falling onto the ceramic floor. Hanako and Akane must be making breakfast, she thought. She was greeted by two young men picking up spoons and forks, arguing.

"Good morning," Nene giggled at the sight.

"Morning, Yashiro-san. Mind if we have breakfast here? We'll leave soon," Akane turned.

"Sure thing, but you don't have to be in a rush," she said as she bent down to help pick up the cutleries.

"Woah, Yashiro...your hair looks great. Must be wonderful for your husband to wake up to a unique sight every morning~" Hanako smirked, holding back laughter.

Nene turned red in a blink of an eye. Hanako expected some sort of response from her, but she only smiled and sat down quietly. He could only assumed the worst. Maybe he went too far about her hair.

"Actually, I'm still single," she muttered.

Akane gave Hanako a nudge and a look of "what have you done".

"For a woman my age," she continued, "it's nearly impossible to get one, haha. A husband, I mean."

Silence.

Akane took a turn at speaking.
"Now, we should have breakfast. I toasted some bread, if you don't mind. Should be ready in-"

Ding!

"-a second," he continued.

The three had a calm and quiet breakfast. To be exact, only two people were having breakfast. Hanako didn't grab any toast at all.

"Hanako-kun, are you not going to eat?" Nene asked, concerned.

"I...uhm, already had some actually, before you came," he said nervously.

After they were satisfied with their servings of toasts, Akane reminded them that Yako is going to pick them up in an hour. They filled the whole hour with chatter.

"I assume Yako is part of A. S. S.?" Nene broke the silence.

"Yeah. She's quiet close with Tsuchigomori, you know, my teacher," Hanako answered.

"Ooh, are they...?"

"Nah, they were friends when they're younger, I guess? They argue a lot, but they are good teammates."

A knock on the door.

Nene got up and walked up the front door, expecting a tall, slender woman with sandy blonde hair. Instead, they saw a young man with blonde hair and staff-like stick. He wore a card on his left chest, revealing his identity, Minamoto Kou. Kou took a piece of paper out of his pocket, shoving it in front of Nene's face. The paper had pictures of 9 people.

As Nene observed closely, she tried to find any familliar face. Before she could finish, Kou pulled the paper back a little.

"Hello Ma'am. Sorry for the-"
Kou took a glance towards Nene's face, realizing how adorable she looked. He tried to snap out of the distraction and continued what he needed to say.

"-in-intrusion. I-I just need to ask if you recognize any of these people?" He pointed at the paper.

Nene took a closer look, and flinched when she saw Hanako and Akane's faces there.

"Wait, what's wrong with these people?!" Nene panickedly asked.

"They are conducting an extremely dangerous experiment that emits a lot of gas emmisions, and it may ruin the city's environment. Although they have permissions, whatsoever, it is still very dangerous, and we need to stop them immediately." Kou answered confidently.

"'We'?"

"Yes, I'm referring to my family's organization, the Minamoto's. We're environmentalists, you see. So, have you seen them?"

Nene took a moment.

"Actually...no," she lied.

"Are you sure? Their rocket fell on that forest nearby," Kou pointed at the forest, "and you are the only resident here. I thought you should have seen them, by any chance?"

"Really? I...don't know that. I may have slept early yesterday. At what time did this happened?"

"I suppose, around 11 p.m.,"

"Ah, it's impossible for me to know, then."

"I see. Well, thank you for your time, Miss."

Nene closed the door and stormed towards the kitchen where she left her guests. She looks horrified and upset.

"Oh, Yashiro, was that Yak-"

"What is going on? If you don't explain to me what you're up to, then I'll have to send you to the Minamotos!" she cried, grabbing a two dirty forks from the table and pointed them each at Hanako and Akane. The two young men looked at each other, being aware of the trouble.

"Please put this down first." Akane warned her.

"No! Just tell me...what are you doing? Minamoto-kun said that you guys are ruining the environment? Are you criminals?!" She thrusted the forks further as more tears fell from her doe eyes.

Hanako and Akane went quiet. They refused to tell Nene about their "secret project". Nene also set a boundary for herself from their project, promising to not ask anymore questions when she was strolling with Hanako. However, she couldn't risk criminals destroying the Earth. Whatever threat they show, she must be careful. For a moment, she forgot--they were strangers.

"We're not criminals. Put that down, or I'll have to kill you," a voice said.

Nene turned around, terrified. That's exactly what criminals would say. Her eyes met the woman's behind her. She was pointing a gun towards Nene.

"Put it down, young lady," she said strictly.

"Yako-san, you don't have to use-"

"Shut up, boy. I said, put the forks down. We'll talk," Yako instructed.

Nene obediently dropped the forks and fell onto a chair. Her face rested on her palms. Yako sighed.

"You little sh*ts. Why can't you just do this mission nicely? Can't believe that idiot spider-hunting scientist trusted you on a mission alone. That rocket was so god damn expensive. To involve an outsider, too. God!" she lectured.

Nene gulped. She couldn't believe she let dangerous people in her house.

"I do think I deserved an explanation. Tell me whats going on or I'll tell the Minamotos," she said.

Akane and Hanako looked at Yako. She should know what to do. Unfortunately for them, she gave back a glare.

"What? You're the leader," Yako rolled her eyes.

"Well, then. I think it's better if we show Yashiro our headquarters and let her come with us, if she's good with that?" Hanako said to Nene.

"Show me the way," she said.
