I walked into the Last Drop, plopping down at the bar and keeping my hood up. I motioned for the bartender to get me a whiskey on the rocks, and waiting for my drink.

I heard someone sit down beside me, their muscular legs spread on the stool. I stared into my drink, hoping they wouldn't try and make conversation. After the night I just had, I just wanted to drown my frustrations in alcohol.

"What's a pretty little thing like you always doing here? Every now and again, you're at this barstool. I know you're not here to intimidate, so..hun...." Sevika said, her deep and gruff voice never hesitating to surprise me.

"I'm here for the same reason everyone else is. Drink shitty, cheap alcohol and forget there's a world out there that hates us." I muttered, glaring at her. Her brown eyes looked me up and down, piercing.

"Well. Maybe you should be here for something else. Get her another whiskey, on me." Sevika said, turning towards the bartend. He nodded, taking my glass.

I raised my eyebrows at Sevika, nervously looking at her metal arm that was inching towards me. She played with the lose strands of my coat, not meeting my eyes.

"What can I say, hun? You've caught my eye. If you're not going to remember the night come tomorrow morning, might as well go for it." She smirked, stirring her glass.

I scoffed, smiling and shaking my head at her brash antics.

"Always speaking first and thinking later, as usual. What makes you think I'd, how do you say, give it to you?" I said, turning towards her. I looked her up and down, my eyes resting on her lips for a moment before rising to her eyes.
