TOF's Big Book of Awesomeness

Happy Easter Everyone!

So if you guys didn't know, it's Easter!
Now what you guys probably do is hang out with family, and have Easter egg hunts. Or you stay home.
I'm at my dad's so it's really difficult to have a separated family enjoy Easter. Are your parents separated? It's difficult right?
Anyways, enough with the bad stuff, I decided to write a short Easter story. I'll try my best, not very good at writing though:

This is called "The Weird but Yet Awesome Egg Hunt".

Kayla was so excited, today is Easter! And she loved the egg hunts her mom organized. The eggs weren't always the same as the last year, and they always had a theme, last year's was sports. There were football spaced eggs and soccer shaped eggs etc.

She walked into the living room, where everyone was, her aunts, uncles, cousins. Everyone was there. Kayla encountered her mother, she moved her blond hair out of her face and finally noticed Kayla.

"Oh hello Kayla! Are you excited?" Kayla's mother asked.
"Oh course!" She answered with no hesitation.
"Then go on! It's ready!"

Kayla ran outside, it was really nice outside. It was the perfect weather. Her cousin, Damian, ran outside. He was the same age as her.

"Hey Kayla! I'm going to find all of the eggs before you do!"
"We'll see about that!" Kayla remarks.

She grabs a basket and begins running around the backyard.

"I wonder what this year's theme is?" Kayla wondered.

After a couple minutes, she finally found one. It was a navy blue, there were stars and a wand. She picked up the egg to examine it closer. But as soon as she touched it, the egg opened, and she was sucked in. She screamed but was full of amazement.

She got up and noticed that she was standing in plains. The grass was up to her knees and it danced in the wind. The wind blew her blond hair, she looked around, there's nothing but plains, there were a couple trees here and there. She began to walk around, as she walked, she heard the grass sway and then some crumpling. She turned around and saw ears zoom by: bunny ears. She began to chase the ears to see and egg drop behind the bunny.

"No... it couldn't be." She muttered.

She picked up the egg, there wasn't really any theme, it was beautifully coloured. As soon as she touched it, it again opened up and a bright white light leaked out. It was too bright for Kayla to see. She squinted as she was transported back to her backyard.

There was Damien, with a basket full of eggs, they all looked like the one she saw in that weird land, beautifully coloured.

"Wait, but that wasn't the theme!" Kayla announces.
"Of course it was! I decided to go with a normal egg hunt this year!" Her mother explained.

Kayla was still confused, she looked for the egg she found but it was gone. Her mother grabbed her arm and took Kayla inside.

"I think the heat is getting to you Kayla, you should stay inside for awhile."
"But, but."

Kayla looked in the backyard, to see Damien still out there, he went behind the bush and suddenly bunny ears popped out of his head. Kayla was shocked, but she knew no one would believe her.

"Damien cheated!" Kayla told her mother. "He's the one who hid them!"

As she was taken away, she could hear a snicker coming from outside.

That bastard.
