Barry's POV
What do I do, I can't let shrek find out about this I can't risk are new found happiness
"Are ye alright my darlin"
"Ehhh... of course daddy shrek" a drop of sweat leaked out from my fore head "why would you think that... I must go now I'm very buzzy" I awkwardly chuckled before flying past him 'oh go he could tell something was wrong why did Vanessa have to come between us'
I went to the bathroom to find him
"Shrek we need to talk"
He opens the door his eyes red and puffy
"Shre-"
That's when I sore her Vanessa
"BARRY IVE COME TO WIN BACK YOUR LOVE"
Shreks POV
What did I do wrong
I though I made him happy maybe I'm just not good enough for hem
I looked in a mirror "oh im so ogrly" tears welled from my face "I wish I could be pretty like all the other boys" I dried the flowing tears from my eyes but they kept coming then suddenly
*KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK
I tried to clean myself up
I opened the door I could see the hurt in his eyes when he sore me like this
That's when she showed up
"Barry wh- who is this have you been"
no shrek don't think like that
But all the facts point to it- I couldn't deny it
"HAVE YOU BEEN CHEATING ON ME- I'm so stupid" the tears stated again I ran off GOD I HATE HIM
with out a second thought I tore down are tree just how he tore down are love

Barry POV
"SHREK NOOO I CAN EXPLAIN"
I turn to Vanessa
"How could you- I- I was happy for the first time since I can remember AND YOU RUINED IT"
"Barry- I'm sorry I just love you so much I don't know why I slept with Ken it was a mis"
I cut her of
"No Vanessa you chose that you chose to ruin are marriage you don't get to chose to ruin my relationship to"
She stopped all hope draining from her eyes
"Go after him if he's really worth it"
With that she pulled something from her pocket- half a pendant the anniversary gift I got her
"I'll send the divorce papers as soon as possible"
She didn't cry or fight it she finally just except that we can never bee.
Every one told us a human and a bee can't be together or will never work out- and they where right
I looked at Vanessa one last time and hugged her
"Thank you" she whispered into my ear
Then I was off to find the one worth fighting for
Shreks POV
Barry came flying towards me
"Shrek look, I'm sorry nothing happened between us"
"Then why did you never tell me about her" I huffed turning away from him
His hand ran across the destroyed pile of wood
"Are tree" he whispered I could see the poin in his eyes
He gathered himself together
"Vanessa was my ex wife she cheated on me with Ken, her ex boyfriend" he let out a long pause
"She came to far far away today to fight for are broken marriage but I don't live her se never made me happy like you do"
"Then why did you never tell me you sore her"
"I was scared"
"Of what you know you can trust me"
"I was scared that you would stop loving me if you knew that you'd think I was still in life which her and leave" he blurted out
Any anger towards him left me
"Oh Barry" I put an arm around him
"I will love you for now and forever"
I got down on one knee abs proposed
"Barry b benson will you do the honours and bee mine from now until forever"
His eyes lit up
"OH GOD YES YES A MILLION X YES"

5 years later
Barry and shrek went on to live a happy life Barry went on to live another month which is extremely old for a bee. In that time they adopted 5 human children. After Barry died shrek was devastated but put all his efforts into providing for there children. 5 years later he want on to remarry mega mind and have been happy ever since.
