The new family

You were on a camping trip, you loved the outdoors and wanted to have a weekend away. As you were walking to your camp site you saw a very strange looking puddle, it reflected orange trees and orange skies. You being the curious soul you are, had to investigate. You also being very clumsy, tripped on your way over and fell in it. You opened your eyes, expecting a hard impact, but one never came.

"Who's there? If it's the emperor's coven any attempt to arrest me or my family will result in limbs in places there aren't meant to be limbs." A lady said.

"That is rather graphic and what is 'the emperor's coven' exactly?" You asked. You were a bit scared but you saw this as an opportunity to make a new friend, maybe a place to get away from your stupid parents.

Suddenly, "Hello! Hoot hoot!" A bird like worm shot out of the front door at you. You of course screamed because a giant bird worm just appeared out of no where.

"Hooty. Stop scaring people!" The lady exclaimed then sighed, "sorry about him, he can be annoyed bird tube sometimes". She stopped for a moment and her eyes got wide, she was staring at your ears. "Luz, get out here, there is a new human on the boiling isles."

"New human? WHAAAAAAA" thump thump thump of someone running way to fast down the stairs. "Ow" and then falling.

"Where am I?" You ask.

"You are in the boiling isles a place where magic is real! Also you're with the most wanted criminal on the boiling isles, because the government here is horrible. Emperor's coven doesn't like it when we use our powers to the fullest without their control." The lady with grey hair said confidently.

"There is another human! How did you get here? What's your name? Where are you from? Do you like any fandoms? I have so many questions!" Luz spoke with the speed of a thousand cheetahs.

"Calm down Luz give her some time, she was just plopped into a new world she's probably very scared, like you when you got here." the lady said.

"I know, I just haven't had another human around in a while and I want to be friends with her. Should I go grab king, Eda?" Luz asked

"I can actually answer your questions, I saw a puddle that reflected orange trees and skies and went to check it out but me being clumsy fell in the puddle and boom, I'm here now. Secondly, my name is Y/n L/n and of course I am in many many fandoms, who isn't?" I respond. Luz proceeded to squeal in response and give you a bone crushing hug.

"I'm assuming you need a place to stay?" Eda asked.

"Yeah, since I am guessing I can't go back home it would be great to have some where to stay here." You said, a bit concerned as you can't go home.

"Well, you're staying with us now!" Eda said confidently.

"Thank you Miss" you said in hopes of being polite.

"Call me Eda kid, Luz how about you give her a tour, and find her a place to sleep." Eda said tiredly.
