Nobody really knows why, but one day in late may, 3 children showed up unannounced at the doorstep of an orphanage. One was a green bear, one a yellow mouse, and the .at a green lizard of some sort. Each of these children wielded a note.
The green bear's note read that he was the result of an affair. His parents were both alcoholics, and were both married. They planned on going to court, but on the way the mother got into a car accident. She died. The father wrote this not to anonymously get rid of the child. It was also added that the child had mild DID.
There the five-year-old cub stood, tears in his eyes, knowing he wasn't wanted. He was shy, and not very talkative.
"What's your name, young cub?" The orphanage manager asked.
"M-m-my father calls me f-flippy m'am. Because the c-c-car f-f-flipped in the accident." The young cub awnsered.
What a terrible name. The poor child. Full of pity, the orphanage worker showed the cub to a bed. Then she turned to the others.
The young mouse was just abandoned. He was left with some money, and a note that said to take care of him. He said his name was simply "mouse" as his parents never bothered with a real name. The worker showed him to a bed next to flippy's.
Finally, she sat down next to the lizard. He was a child removed by child services. He said his name was "sneaky", but the worker was sure he was bluffing. Still,, The worker put him next to the mouse.
The three quickly became fast friends, and gained a reputation as the orphanage troublemakers.
Flippy was good at launching paper air planes, but he couldn't throw straight if he was nervous. Sneaky had found he was quite good at snatching other children's toys with his tounge, and mouse was good at making small "explosives" with oatmeal containers. Eventually, the staff had enough. After a quick run-in with yet another paper airplane, they said that if the trio were to pull anymore stunts, they were going to be sent off to military school. Obviously, the three didn't believe them, and kept wreaking havoc. Little did they know that the orphanage workers were to hold strong to their word. In less than a week, the trio of 11-year-old troublemakers were forced to pack their belongings and say their goodbyes, bright-eyed, innocent, and blind to the troubles they were about to face.
