Classic Sonic and the gang were getting ready to celebrate 2022! 2021 had been a great year for the Heroes and they were excited for more adventures!
Silver: Alright! The fireworks are all set!
Knuckles: Perfect!
Bolo noticed Shantae wasn't with them.
Bolo: Anyone know where Shantae is?
Rottytops: Last time I saw her, she was in the lighthouse!
Sky: She better not be asleep again!
Classic Sonic: I can wake her up.
Mimic: Please do!
Sonic nodded and ran to the lighthouse. There he saw his half genie girlfriend sleeping like a baby.
Classic Sonic: Aww.
As cute as she looked, Sonic tried to wake her up. Shantae rolled over and smiled even though her eyes were closed.
Classic Sonic: I see that smile.
Shantae rolled over again.
Classic Sonic: If you don't wake up, I'm going to extreme measures.
Shantae just rolled onto her back. Sonic jumped onto top of her. She briefly opened her eyes.
Classic Sonic:
Shantae jumped.
Shantae: Ah!
Classic Sonic: (laughing) I was wondering when you was gonna wake up!
Shantae smirked and pulled Sonic in for a kiss.
Shantae: I'll get you back for that cutie~
Classic Sonic: Yeah, anyway, we're about to celebrate 2022! Come on!
Shantae: okay!
The couple ran outside and everyone launched the fireworks. The fireworks spelled 2022 in the sky.
Amy: Oh, so beautiful...
Knuckles: Heh, new year, new adventures!
Classic Sonic: Yeah!
Shantae pulled Sonic in another kiss while everyone continued to watch the fireworks light up the sky.
