"Uh, sorry. I didn't mean to ruin your sesh or whatever," I opened the door then shut it, making sure nobody could smell the weed. I also cringed at my words. Remind me to never say that again.

"Yeah, you're good... but who are you? It's the middle of the semester," the man asked.

"Oh I'm your dorm mate, Lillian. But everyone calls me Lilli."

"Lilli, okay. Well, I just came in here for fun, this isn't actually my dorm."

He sat up on the bed and placed his blunt on the rolling tray on the bedside table. He slowly made his way towards me, getting a little too close.

"Do you need any help, Lilli?"

Why was he saying my name like that? He's probably stoned anyway.

I adjusted the box in my arms and backed up a bit.

"Um, no I'm good, but thanks for asking," I say, placing my box on the empty bed close to his. All I needed to do was make my bed, put away my clothes, and shower. There was only one bathroom and I had to share with some rando. Great. I just ignored the fact and unpacked the box of my belongings. The man sat back down and continued to smoke his blunt, putting Airpods in his ears to probably drown out the sound of my noisiness.

The closet had enough room for my clothes to fit into, so I just hung them on a hanger and called it a day. I noticed that I had packed a rather revealing dress. I guess I should wear that to the party. The bathroom was able to suit me and the person I'd be sharing the dorm with. I placed my shampoo, conditioner, face wash, and body wash into a drawer that was unoccupied. I made my bed, putting a sheet over the mattress and putting a pillowcase on the pillows. I fluffed out my comforter and sighed.

"Wow that was quick, glad you could get settled in so fast," he said out of nowhere.

"Oh yeah, me too."

I finished putting miscellaneous items everywhere and finally finished. It felt like home again. I sat down on my bed, already exhausted. I checked my phone and saw that it was just now 5:15, so I had a lot of time to spare.

If I'm being honest, this guy kinda scares me. Although he may be stoned, he's still really scary. I don't know what it is about him...

"So, I never caught your name," I started, hoping he would answer me.

"It's Lucas. I unfortunately do not have a nickname, so you can just call me Lucas."

"Okay.." I responded. "So which dorm are you staying in if this isn't your dorm?" I asked him. His eyes widened a bit.

"Wow, someone's nosey," he said. "But if you want to know so bad, I suppose I'll tell you. A-12. I live a few doors down from you. I'm only here because I'm waiting on my friend, Ally."

"Oh, okay. Guess that means someone named Ally is my dorm mate," I respond.

With almost perfect timing, there was rattling of some kind at the door. Lucas and I both darted our heads quickly to the door. The door slowly opened, and someone with long blonde hair walked in. Even though she wasn't naturally blonde, the color still suited her. Her brown roots made it obvious. She had a diamond stud pierced through her left nostril, and wore small silver hoop earrings. Her eyes were a dull sage green color and her lips were shiny, probably from lip gloss of some kind. She also wore black framed glasses that fit perfectly on her face.

"Hey I'm back-" She immediately stopped talking, and looked at me. I thought she was going to say something rude, but instead she said..

"Oh hi! My name is Ally. I wasn't expecting you to be here already!" She flashed a smile at me. So she was expecting me?

"Hi, I'm Lillian, Lilli for short. It's nice to meet you," I say, smiling back at her.

She sat her keys down and gave me a hug. Wow. I was not expecting that. She hugged me a little too tightly, then released me from her hug. I smiled awkwardly.

"Well, guess we should get going then?" Lucas said, getting one last hit of his blunt before walking over to Ally. She nodded her head as they both made their way to the door. Ally waved goodbye to me, and Lucas just kept walking. I waved back as the door shut, leaving only myself in the room. I assumed it had automatically locked and just left it alone. I checked my phone and lay on my freshly made bed. I noticed that I had gotten a snap from Delilah. I opened it, and it was her and two other people posing in front of a store. I noticed that the girl on her left was holding a box of beer, and the guy on her right was also holding beer. I laughed and said, "must be in charge of the beer huh" and clicked send. I decided that it would be a good time to shower, and so I did, seeing that it was nearly 5:45.

After showering, it was 6:15, so I had plenty of time to get ready. I didn't have to meet with Delilah until 10, so it was up to my heart's desire to do whatever I pleased. I grabbed my makeup bag and strug everything out on the small sink. The mirror was still foggy, so I grabbed the blow dryer and plugged it in, immediately clearing the mirror. I wanted to look good tonight, especially because of what Delilah said. "By the way, a lot of hot guys go here, so this is your chance to find a totally hot boyfriend."

I finished my makeup and hair. All I did for my hair was dry and curl it. For my makeup, I just went with something natural. It just accentuated my natural beauty. Although, I did wear some red lipstick, it made my lips pop. When I checked my phone again, it was nearing 8:00. Wow, it really took me that long to get ready? I put on the dress I was going to wear and, wow, was it revealing. It was red, and short. A little too sexy for my liking. Not to mention it was tight and silky. The low v-cut neckline made my cleavage really noticeable. When I went to look in the mirror, I was stunned. I grabbed my favorite perfume and sprayed it on my chest, wrists, and neck.I wore my favorite nose ring, and put in some diamond earrings, also putting on my favorite rings. As I started to put my shoes on, my phone started ringing. I finished putting one shoe on as I ran to grab my phone. It was Delilah calling from Snapchat. I quickly answered.

"Hey Delilah what's up?"

"Hey! I know it's only 8:15, but could you meet me in front of the building in like five minutes?" She sounded desperate and out of breath.

"Um yeah! Is there any specific reason? Is everything okay?" I say, slipping on my other shoe.

"Yeah, it's just that they want to start the party earlier than expected. My friends also left me with two boxes of beer to carry, so I'm definitely gonna need you to come help."

"Yeah I'll be down in like two minutes," I say, standing up and heading towards the door.

"Thanks a lot Lilli, I appreciate it." Right after she said that, the call ended.

And with that, I decided to take the stairs. I still hate elevators. Afterwards, I went outside in front of the building. I saw Delilah, sure enough, with two cases of beer sitting idle on the ground.

"Hurry! We can't let security see!" Delilah whispered loudly. I laughed and almost tripped over myself, trying to get to her quickly. I grabbed one case of beer and she grabbed the other.

"The frat house isn't far away, so let's hurry," she said.

And with that we made our way to the frat house, laughing for no reason. I could already tell that we were going to be best friends.
