Ghost
"Devin c'mon you can't hide under there forever." Balz pulls the covers back. I flipped him off and pulled the covers back over my head. "Devin seriously. So you walked in on Ricky. So what?"
"No it's what I saw." I said into the pillow and it came out muffled.
"What? I can't hear you lose the fucking pillow."
"Nothing." I got out and pushed past him and went to the bathroom being sure to knock first this time. No one was in there so I locked the door and stepped into the shower, and just stood in the hot water thinking about my dream and what I saw when I walked in on Ricky. So it's obvious I love Ricky so that's what the dream was but what I don't understand is why Ricky is starving himself. Yeah that's right Ricky, I saw what you tried to hide. But why? Why are you doing it? I got out and got dressed and walked out of the bathroom. I was greeted by Ricky collapsed on the floor and Chris shaking him and calling his name while Vinny was waving a paper in Ricky's face to hopefully revive him or something i don't know. Balz was up with Josh who pulled the bus to the side of the road. I rushed forward to Ricky and Balz pulled Chris back to give me space. I gently brushed his hair out of his pale face and felt him breathing very shallowly. "What happened?" I asked without taking my eyes of him.
"I-I don't know. He stood and then dropped."
"He got lightheaded Chris." Josh says coming back with Balz. "Ghost why don't you take Ricky back to his bunk and wait till he wakes up. He's been doing that for the past month, I'm gonna take a detour and drive us to the hospital and have them look at Ricky." Josh tells us and went back and started the bus, getting back on the road. I carefully lifted my crush into my arms and walked back to the bunks. He was so pale and fragile looking it broke my heart. I laid him on his bunk and sat next to him in the bunk. An hour later Chris came back to say we were at the hospital and Ricky still hadn't woken yet.
"I'm worried sick Chris." My voice cracks pretty badly and Chris put his hand on my shoulder.
"We all are. Balz told me about your crush on Ricky. He'll be fine don't worry Devin." I stood and Chris picked up Ricky and gave him to me. "I assume you wanna carry him." I nodded and walked out with everyone else and Josh went to the nurse at the front desk. I clung to Ricky holding him tightly. Vinny and Balz had to hold me back when a nurse came and took Ricky from me. I turned and broke down on Balz and he held me as I sobbed. Ricky you can't leave me.......I love you.
