(TW: MENTION OF ABUSE AND RAPE)
I woke up in an unfamiliar room. It had drawings of Moondrop and Sunrise. Pillows and blankets everywhere. LED lights on the walls dark blue and light yellow. I guess this is Sun and Moons room. There was a recharge station in the middle of the room.
I got up and there were two doors. I walked up to one of them which led to the balcony. I walked out and seen Sunrise with all the kids. It was a huge mess. Sunrise noticed me.
Sunrise: "Y/N! GLAD YOUR AWAKE! YOU CAN USE THE OTHER DOOR TO GET DOWN!"
He was very excited. I nodded and closed the doors. I walked over to the other doors and walked through them. They lead to stairs and the stairs lead to the daycare. I walked down and walked into the daycare.
Kids came running up to me hugging my leg and so excited yelling hi and hello. One child cought my eye. He was standing beside Sunrise and he looked scares.
Y/n: "Hey kiddo's! Go play. I'll play with y'all in a minute. I have work to get done."
They all sighed and groaned and said ok. They walked away and started playing again. I walked over to Sunrise and the kid. I looked at Sunrise and then the kid and back at Sunrise.
Y/n: "did something happen? Is the kid alright?"
Sunrise: "He's having family problems and scared to go home." He was mumbling.
I nodded understanding the kid. I kneeled down in front of the kid.
Y/n: "Want to talk over tea and some chips?"
The kid nodded and gestured for me to pick him up. I picked him up and looked at Sunrise.
Y/n: "Can you watch the kids alone for a few minutes? I'll be back as soon as possible."
Sunrise: "Yeah! I've been doing that before you got here of course I can!"
I nodded and turned around. I headed towards the doors. I opened them and walked out carrying the kid. He seemed sad and scared at the same time.
Y/n: "No need to back scared kiddo. I'll get everything situated after you tell me what's going on."
I walked over to the constitution stand. I ordered two sweet that's and some chips. They came back and gave me them. I paid and walked over to Vanessa.
Vanessa: "What do you want?"
She was in a jokingly voice of course.
Y/n: "Do we have any rooms that I can use to talk to the kid in private?"
Vanessa nodded and walked me over to a room.
Y/n: "Thanks Vanessa."
Vanessa nodded and walked away. I opened the door and walked in. I walked over to a table and sat the kid down on a chair. I gave them a cup of sweet tea and a bag of chips.
Kid: "T-thank y-you."
Y/n: "Your welcome. What's your first and last name?"
Adam: "M-my name is A-Adam Williams."
Y/n: "My name is Y/n l/n. Nice to meet you Adam. You don't need to hide anything from me. If anything happened tell me now and I will take care of it."
Adam: "W-well Mommy drinks from th-this g-glass bottle... O-once it's
e-empty s-she hits m-me with i-it and l-laughs... S-she makes m-me get
H-her another o-one... I-it repeats
e-every d-day... Mommy a-and daddy h-have been f-fighting a-a lot l-lately.. M-mommy w-would t-touch me i-in u-ucomfortable s-spots..."
I sat in shock, anger, sadness.
Y/n: "How old are you? What is your Mommy's name? Did you daddy ever hurt you?"
Adam: "I-im f-five year's o-old... Mommy's n-name is E-Emerson.. A-and yes d-daddy h-hits m-me.."
Y/n: "Ok. What's your daddy's name?"
Adam: "Cooper..."
Y/n: "Do you want to go home?"
Adam: "N-no."
Y/n: "Ok I have to make a phone call real quick."
I gave the kid something to play with and walked out the room for a minute. I grabbed my phone from my pocket and dialed the police.
Operator: "911 What's your emergency?"
Y/n: "I have a kid that is being raped and abused at home. He is at Freddy's Mega Pizza Plex. I just talked to him and his name is Adam Williams."
Operator: "Alright ma'am I need you to go inside the same room as him and put the phone on speaker."
I walked into the room and put the phone on speaker. I shut the door behind me.
Y/n: "Your on speaker."
Operator: "Alright Adam listen I need you to stay with this lady for the rest of the day. I need your mommy's and daddy's name."
Adam: "Mommy's name is Emerson Williams and daddy's name is Cooper Williams..."
I could tell he was holding back tears so I walked up to him and he stood up and hugged me tight.
Operator: "Alright you won't be able to go home to night. Miss do you guys let kids stay in the daycare?"
Y/n: "Yes ma'am we do."
Operator: "alright Adam your gonna have to stay in the daycare. We are gonna bring you a bag with clothes and stuff in it."
Adam: "Y-yes m-ma'am."
Adam took a drink and ate some chips.
The operator put us on hold and I started playing with the child. The operator was back and told us that they were bringing the stuff.
Y/n: "Thank you so much."
Operator: "It wasn't a problem. Thank you for teaching out to us."
I hummed and the operator hun up. I put the kid on my shoulders and walked out the door.
