I was working my shift while Sunrise played with the kids. The 10-12 bad their own stuff going on.
Random kid: "Yes. But she was so sexy. I love her. But honestly the security guard for the day care is sexier."
I heard one kid say. I stopped doing my work. I looked up and two boys
were looking at me. I ignored it and started working again.
Random kid 2: "Yeah I totally agree. I would fuck her hard if I could."
I heard another one say. I started getting uncomfortable. I got up and walked up to Sunrise.
Y/n: "Sunrise! I'm gonna go do something real quick. I'll be back."
Sunrise looked at me and smiled. He nodded.
Sunrise: "Alright! Be careful!"
I nodded and walked out the daycare and into the restroom. I walked over to a mirror. I stopped smiling.
'God damit. I'm getting uncomfortable with 10-12 year olds. This isn't good. I feel stupid' I thought to myself, 'I can't take to long. Sunrise will start to get worried if I do.' I looked in the mirror one last time and smiled weakly.
I walked out of the bathroom and over to the daycare. I stood in front of the doors. My eyes started to sting and I felt hot tears stream down my face. I wiped the tears and walked in. Sunrise noticed I was crying.
Sunrise: "Give me one second Kiddo's! We can play tag in a minute ok?"
The kids groaned in awe and said ok. I walked up to my desk and leaned in the wall. Not a good thing because I thought of hitting my head. Sunrise walked up to me and hugged me.
Sunrise: "Everything alright Sunshine? Why are you crying?"
Y/n: "I'm just uncomfortable a round a group of boys but I'm fine." I wiped my tears again.
Sunrise: "Why? What happened? Did they do something?"
I nodded 'yes' and his expression changed from worried to mad.
Sunrise: "What'd they do? I can make it stop."
Y/n: "They are saying things. Sexually. Sexual things."
Sunrise froze his embrace getting tighter.
Y/n: "It's fine though. Don't worry about it."
Sunrise: "No. They know that wrong. I got your back beautiful. What'd the kids look like?"
Y/n: " One had dark brown hair and dark green eyes. The other one was dirty blonde and had light purple
eyes."
Sunrise let go if the embrace. He already knew the two kids from what it seemed.
Sunrise walked up to the two boys.
Sunrise: "Kye and William! I already talked to y'all about talking sexually about the workers! I'm gonna have to report this one to your parents! Do we need to rehave that talk again?!"
Kye: "N-No sir! Please don't tell my parents! They'll kill me!"
William: "N-no sir.."
Parents were coming and picking up their children.
Sunrise's POV
I watched as parents came and signed their kids out. I grabbed the two boy's wrists and Y/n was over there saying goodbye to the kids and telling them they'd play with them tomorrow. I walked over there and smiled as each kid left. Kyle's mom came and seen I was holding his wrist.
Kye's mom: "Did he do something Sunrise? Why does it look like he did something?"
Sunrise: "He said something inappropriate towards dear Y/n."
Kye's mom: "What'd he say?"
Sunrise: "Kye tell your mother what you said."
Kye: "I-I u-uhm... I s-said t-they w-were s-sexy.."
Kye's mom: "Kye that's it. I'm done with you. We had this talk already. Sunrise and Y/n in terribly sorry for his words!"
I let go of Kye and his mom signed him out. She grabbed him by the wrist and dragged him out. Y/n looked at me and gave me a soft smile. We waited for William's parents to arrive.
His dad arrived and eyed my hand on his son's wrist.
William's dad: "What'd you do this time boy?"
William: "I-I said something.."
William's dad: "I've heard enough already. We'll talk in the car boy. Thanks for watching him Sunrise." his dad signed him out and I let go if him. They walked out and Y/n started crying.
Sunrise: "Dear Y/n! What's wrong?!"
Y/n: "N-nothing but t-thank you. W-what would I-I do without y-you?"
I walked up to them and hugged them. I picked them up bridal style.
Sunrise: "No need to cry dearest Y/n you have me to protect you! Did you finish your paper work yet? Or can we go play?"
Y/n: "I just have to finish up a few things then we can play!"
Sunrise: "YAY!" I put them down and smiled, "Go finish then!" They nodded and sprinted over to their desk. I walked over and sat down on the floor beside their chair waiting.
