Y/N'S POV
I walked into the daycare entrance and slid down the slide. It was somewhat more calming then being alone at home. I climbed out the ball pit and went over to table. Sunrise was playing with the kids but heard the balls in the ball pit moving he looked over and but didn't see me since I move fast. I sat at a chair and Sunrise starte looking around with a confused look on his face. I was tired from staying up till 6:47 AM an only getting thirty minutes of sleep. I grabbed my earbuds from my bag and connected them from my phone. I was a favorite of Sun's mainly because I helped when it was needed and I never broke a rule I don't know much about moon though. I think we're cool dont know though. I put music on an put my earbuds in. I layed my head down because I was obviously tired.
Sunrise's POV
I looked over and seen Y/n sitting down at a table with their head down. I told the kids to go play and get their energy out since it was almost nap time. They ran away and started playing. I skipped over to Y/n and pulled a chair out. I sat down and they looked up at me.
Y/N'S POV
"Hey Sunnyrise." I greeted with a tired smile.
"Hello Y/n! Are you ok you seem tired." He also greeted.
"I'm fine Sunnyrise! I just got thirty minutes of sleep last night." I fold him knowing what was about to happen.
"Y/n! Moondrop isnt gonna be happy about that! And you know your supposed to have 8 hours of sleep! What time did you go to bed and when did you wake up?!"
"I went to bed at 6:47 AM and woke up at 7:17. I'm sorry but I got lost up in reading and then my older sibling woke me up because I was gonna be alone which is why i came here I didnt want to be alone and it's more calming then be in alone in a house."
"Y/n! You can't do that! It's not healthy for you! Your going to take a nap to when nap time!"
He stopped and analyzed what time it was.
"Ten minutes till nap time Y/n." he said, "Officer Vanessa changed a rule to. We can only turn the lights off when nap time."
I nodded, "So Moon will come out?"
"Yes. He said he'll try not to scare the kids this time but if they don't behave I have to punish them later." Sunrise said not so happy with the last part. He never liked to punish children. It makes him feel bad. We spent that ten minutes on talking. Sunrise got up and pushed the chair in.
"ALL RIGHTY KIDDO'S IT'S NAP TIME!" Sunrise shouted so all the kids could hear him over their yelling.
Kids came running over, kids crawled out of the tunnels. They all grabbed their stuff and went to the nap spot. They layed their mats down and started to settle down. I stayed sitting because I didn't have anything to sleep on. Sunrise went to the light switch and turned the lights off trusting what Moon had told him.
A few moments of hearing just my music in my earbuds I looked up to see Moon making sure everyone was asleep. He seen me. I usually don't stay this late but I met Moon some times. He started heading over to me. I now had a headache from no-clue what. Maybe Moon some-what scared me when it was just us two up or alone. Once he reached me he put his hand on my shoulder. It was cold metal on my showing shoulder. I sighed and looked up at him.
"Your supposed to be either gone or asleep Y/n. Your tired I can tell. Why are you still up?" The talk animatronic asked.
"I can't sleep Moon. I'm just having problems sleeping. Why does it matter to you? I can't stay up? I'm sixteen I'm fine!" I replied.
"Y/n sleeping is healthy for you. I heard your conversation with Sunrise. Your going to sleep whether you like it or not."
Moondrop bent down and picked me up. I looked at him with a suprised look. He walked over to the ball pit an jumped onto the balcony. He sat down on the balcony floor and sat me on his lap, facing him. I felt the heat run up to my cheek and I quickly turne my head so he couldn't see it. He cupped his hand on my chin. He turned my head to him and I rested my head on his shoulder.
Hours later
I woke up and I was on the floor of the balcony. I sat up and looked around. Sunrise nor moon was here. I crawled over to the edge and looked around the space under me. Sunrise was saying bye to all the children and the last child left. I went back and layed back down. I heard Sunrise talking to somebody. Most likely Moondrop or Officer Vanessa. The lights went off and I knew Moon was now in control. I layed there and stared at the stars on the ceiling. I smiled softly.
"Sunrise somebody is here. Or they just left their bag. I'm going to analyze it so you can give it to them tomorrow." Moondrop told Sunrise.
I got up and looked over the edge and seen Moon analyzing my bag. I almost fell over the edge of the balcony but I caught myself. Once Moon was done analyzing it he looked around.
MOONDROP'S POV
I looked around with the feeling like I was being watched. I shrugged it off. I put the bag down inside one of the cubbies. I walked over to the ball pit and went to jump onto the balcony but I seen somebody peeking their head off of the balcony. Once they seen me standing here they pulled their head back. I jumped up and onto the balcony. I pulled them up by the collar of their shirt and jerked them up so they were in front of me. "WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE?!" I was yelling. They let out a squeak sound. They looked into my eyes with a terrified look. Once I realized that they we're Y/n I loosened, "Why are you here? How'd you get up here?" I asked with a stern voice.
"I-I woke up when the last kid was leaving and I was to scared to j-jump o-off. I-i'm s-sorry. I fell a-asleep on here with you b-because I couldn't s-sleep. I-im sorry Moondrop!" They replied with scaredness in their voice.
I pulled them into a close hug. I forgot I brought them up here and Sunny never woke them up. I picked them up and realized that they were crying.
"Hey hey! Moonlight it's ok! I didn't realize it was you I'm sorry! Moonlight I'm terribly sorry. Didn't mean to scare you. I thought you left with the kids." I held them closer.
"T-the sudden movement s-scared me. T-the yelling.. I-it scared me
M-Moon.. S-sorry I'm c-crying I-I look ugly when I-I cry I'm sorry." Y/n tried looking away. I cupped my hand on their chin,
"Moonlight, your never ugly. Your beautiful/handsom just the way you are. You don't have to change a thing your amazing in your own way. You shine like a star!" I assured them, "Say your ugly again and I'll punish you!"
I earned a giggle out of y/n. I smiled if my smile could get any bigger. I put my mask where my lips would be if I had them onto their forehead. I sat down and put Y/n on my lap. We talked until Y/n got tired again. Aka only ten minutes. They layed down and so did I. They layed their head on my chest as we looked up at the stars on the ceiling. I felt Y/n start to drift off so I powered off so I wouldn't bother them till opening time. Sunrise is going to be pissed.
