DRACO P.O.V.

McGonagall: "Mr. Malfoy. You'll be staying in the Slytherin dorms like you always have. You are there head after all."

Draco: "Of course I am. I am the only one in this school that gives a damn about any of those kids."

Harry: "What do you mean by that?"

Was he being serious. I actually can't tell. Everyone in the room was wearing the same expression. They all shot me very concerned and confused looks.

Draco: "Wait, you all are serious right now?!"

Weasley: "Of course we are, we don't know what on earth your talking about."

I was shocked and a little bit pissed off.
Draco: "You all can't be serious. I'm sure none of you has ever had a decent conversation with anyone in the house! And Weasley, shut your pie hole before you say something stupid. Slytherin are the only people I can call family because they look  up to me for protection and why? Because every other house is quick to assume the worst about us. None of you lot even cared enough to notice that for years Slytherin students have been booed and bullied for just being placed into the house. Heck, I sat in a tree to avoid you Gryffindors and the first thing you assume is that I'm sTaLkiNg ThE cHoSeN oNe. When I was simply minding my own business."

When I was done speaking they looked  ashamed and rightfully so. Before they could continue I made my exit. I approached the Slytherin commons to the sound of crying children. They were crying because... I wasn't in their house anymore. I walked in and hugged all of them to their shock. I explained the situation to them about me staying despite being in a different house and they were delighted. They sat me down and started asking me all sorts of questions. It was nice to know I was still welcomed somewhere. It didn't help that there were no Slytherins in my year but that's ok I guess.

I love these children to death. They were so kind that they didn't want me to leave even just to put away my belongings. They even took my belongs and placed it in my room and forced me to spend the night in the commons with them. I wasn't opposed.

When morning came they finally let me go to get ready for breakfast in the great hall. As soon as I was ready the first years walked with me as I told them stories about my previous years here. I even sat with them. But as to be expected. I wasn't going to sit anywhere else in the great hall. All of this joy had to end at some point. Golden trio had made their oh so grand appearance. It was a bit revolting if I'm quite honest. Not wanting to be in the room anymore, I apologized to the kids and made my way to class early. I sat in the back away from everything as everyone came in one by one.

I had no interest in the class as there was no Snape to teach it. And worse yet, the new teacher to replace him was quite annoying. I was sitting alone, in the back, out of sight might I add, but for some reason only I was being called to answer questions. The teacher was incharge of the Ravenclaws and I hadn't been to much bothered to learn his name. When he was ready to start giving and taking point I asked him as politely as I could bare to be to have my grades go towards the Slytherin students. He didn't seem to complain and moved along with the class.

The first few classes of the day felt slow. I didn't all to mind as my other classes weren't as bad as potions. Why? BECAUSE NO ONE NOTICED ME! You would think I was mad that they didn't but no, I was mad that that new Potions teacher noticed me too much. I wasn't even bothering anyone. It was ridiculous. Finally It was time for dinner.
