Draco POV

It's been a day. The week has barely started and I already want it to end. I need to calm down. I still didn't know what Potter had been planning but worth finding out. He had yet to walk in with his merry band and it seemed a bit odd. Normally their the first group in.

It hadn't been long before I wish I could take my words back. The Gryffindor's just had to make a grand statement. Harry seemed to be the only one without a basket but he had a card in his hand. They came and rest the things on the desk, pulling the Gryffindor table to ours and took a Slytherin to sit with. Everyone except Harry.

He went up to the front of the hall and called for the professor. He told her something that seemed to puzzle her but she agreed it seemed. Seems as the time to wait is over.

Harry: "To the Slytherin students, on behalf of Gryffindor and the entire school I give our sincerest apologies for not treating you all better than we have. We know it's hard to believe much less trust us because we don't seem to be your own. I for one have the biggest apology to give and the biggest secret I have kept from this school. I just happen to be the most cunning of all Slytherin."

Everyone shared a puzzled look. I was even confused myself. He seemed to notice and continued speaking.

Harry: "Ok so yeah, I may not be a pure blood like you lot but I can prove it. Professor if you don't mind."

She seemed more confused than us as she cared up the Sorting hat.

Harry: "Just to clarify, this doesn't change whatever you know about me."

He elevated a chair for himself to sit and McGonagall placed the sorting hat on his head.

Sorting hat: "Well hello again Mr. Potter. Sorry to say but your one time opportunity is up. I've got to put you in the right house this time. SLYTHERIN."

HUH?!?!?! Wait... Did I hear correctly. Potter himself was supposed to be a Slytherin!! With everyone left dumbfounded, he made his way to the joint table and sat next to me. I looked at him in question wanting answers but he kept silent. He gave me the note he carried and interlocked our hands under the table as I read and he ate.
