"Do I see you later tonight?" Tony leaned against the locker beside Anna's. He smiled brightly, even for such a rainy day as this one. Crossing his arms, he waited for an answer.

Anna took out her coat and dropped off some stuff she didn't need at home. Side eyeing Tony, she noticed the Cullens at the end of the hallway. The other couple had joined them.

This gigantic dude laughed at something Bella said. More than once people had asked him why didn't do sports. Anna didn't know why either, and didn't care.

She glanced back at Tony. His brown eyes were sparkling and his freckles were scattered around his cheekbones and nose. Tony was cute. He had fluffy hair and a big smile with dimples. He was smart, too. Studying architecture.

"Maybe," Anna answered and put on her bright, blue raincoat. It was almost neon.

"Maybe?" repeated Tony, shocked to the core. He even laid a hand on his heart. "The great Anna Hendriks missing a party? I've gotta call Satan and find out what kind of deal is made here."

Punching him, Anna shook her head. "Shut up, I've gotta study."

"You have studied already." He raised his dark eyebrows. "Come on, have a little fun."

"I have fun every fucking weekend," she reminded him and started walking down the hallway. The University was amazing. It reminded her of some Harry Potter movie, the old building that looked like Hogwarts.

Harry Potter fans could eat their heart out in these amazing hallways. "I know!" Tony exclaimed and started walking backwards, in front of her. "But tonight is one of the best parties. You have to come."

"Why?" she asked. Anna loved parties. They made her feel alive and vibrant, she realised how much she loved dancing, laughing and being around people. Every weekend was a party. Why go on a Wednesday evening?

"Because it won't be same without you!" Tony flashed her another smile. Thank God the University stopped with the masks in the hallways.

"Of course it will be," Anna protested. "You just have to miss me, that's all."

"I don't want to miss you!" Tony stopped her in the middle of the hallway. "Pretty please? Just for a couple of hours. I'll drive you home!"

"To do that you can't drink, you punk." She gave him a challenging smile and Tony bit his lip.

"I'll just get us an Uber. Fair deal?"

Anna acted as if she needed to think about it. Very deeply. Narrowing her eyes, she looked him in his own, making him uncomfortable. As soon as he started about this party, Anna had already decided to go. It just had been way too long since she had teased Tony.

"Come pick me up at eight," she told him and cheering, Tony skipped away from her.

He pointed at her and yelled through the hallway: "Don't try to stop Anna Hendriks from going to a party, people!"

Rolling her eyes, but smiling, Anna turned around and made her way towards the exit. She passed the Cullens, not noticing they they were all eyeing her as she strode away from them.

Until someone tapped her on the shoulder. Turing around, Anna was more than surprised to see Bella Cullen behind her. Her pale skin was impeccable, just like her long, brown hair. Her amber eyes shone.

"You dropped this," Bella said and handed over a notebook. Anna didn't hear something fall from het backpack, didn't even notice something.

Trying not to raise an eyebrow to the situation, Anna slowly took her book from Bella's hand. "Thanks..." God, could she even sound more cautious?

"You're Anna Hendriks?" Bella continued.

Anna gestured at the way Tony just left. "You and the whole school know it now. Not surprised you heard it."

Bella laughed nervously and fiddled with her fingers. Anna frowned, wondering why Bella seemed so... uncomfortable.

"I'm Bella Cullen." She didn't extend her hand. "I heard something about a party?"

"Yeah," Anna said. "Why do you ask?"

"Oh, I was just wondering where it was." Anna quickly glanced at the Cullens behind her. They all talked to each other in a silent tone, didn't look at them.

Anna couldn't remember if one of the Cullens ever spoke to someone else outside their family. Teachers, yea, but not students.

This situation was weird. Something was like... really off.

"I dunno," Anna answered. "My friend is going to pick me up. If you ask around, you'll get the address."

Bella nodded again and smiled shyly. "Thanks, Anna. I'll see you around."
