They couldn't understand why Kai wouldn't let them do a basic checkup. He was hiding something and they needed to know what it is.
Jay: so we are keeping him correct?
Nya came up with a plan to keep Kai on the bounty. She knew he wouldn't stay from his job for too long.
Nya: that's the idea.
Cole: I finished getting a room set up
Nya: just a fair warning he will probably say no so if he starts to run grab him and don't let go.
They came to the top deck only to see Kai having a very decent conversation with Zane. Nothing about Kai's medical history but rather elemental powers
Kai: I'm confused so you have a little thing in your chest that gives you ice? Does it generate the water to make the ice or does the water come from the air?
Zane: it completely generates it. I have no clue where it came from but I had in my original design as well.
Kai: intriguing-
He was cut off by Cole and Jay standing behind him watching like hawks
Nya: you are staying here until we get a medical exam.
Kai: hell no
He got up to sprint knowing full well they were in the sky he jumped
Nya: dammit! You two were supposed to grab him
Kai: you know I can here you correct?
Nya looked down and saw her brother on the side of the bounty obviously waiting till they got close enough to a building so he could let go. Nya used her water and quickly put him back on the ship.
Nya: Now that your stuck I'll show you your room.
Kai was hating every second of this. If he doesn't let them do the exam his friends get hurt because he isn't at work but if he does his friends still get hurt but he'd have to be protected under special services. He knew what the best option was but he wanted to warn them first.
Kai: I'll do the exam.
Nya: I knew that wouldn't take long
Kai: just make sure Cole looks at that flash drive first.
Nya looked at him curious.
Nya: I'll make sure of it but until then you can stay in here make yourself cozy.
She let go of the water but before leaving gave him a teddy bear.
Nya: just thought you might want this
Kai:T-thanks.
Kai was obviously embarrassed by still needing a teddy bear but it was a comfort item in his eyes.

Nya: he agreed to do the exam. Cole he said he gave you a flash drive and you need to watch it first.
Cole: ok I'll go do that now.

"Hi it's misty im showing you this to show why we don't quit our jobs and why we are truly stuck here".
The camera turned around.
From what Cole could already tell this must've been a bit ago being how young misty was.
He then saw the boss on the screen
"Aleah hasn't been here enough days so I will make an example of her". He pulled out a gun someone curled up to misty crying the camera moved down and there was Kai. He looked only slightly younger then misty. The camera moved again and then BANG!
Cole couldn't believe what he was witnessing
"The only reason you all are not dead is because our top worker remains here everyday". He looked at kai cold faced. You could see Kai's face go visually pale. "Your lives rest on his shoulders. Now you don't wanna be the reason all your friends die now do you?"He walked up to kai and yanked his face up towards him. "Do you?" He said more violently.
Cole closed the flash drive. Kai couldn't have been older then 10 in the video. All that pressure must've took a toll on him
He walked out of the room.
Cole: we are dealing with a lot more then a rape case.
