Pripyat, Ukraine, the victim of the nuclear disaster caused by the Chernobyl Nuclear power plant, due to the high radiation, the city was abandoned, the only right description is the ghost city, on the other hand, some pretty nasty people come here to make some very bad deals, weapons sales or even a nuclear warhead, Isabella arrived at the location, "Always the same smell...".
She was looking around to find Ahab, moments later she found a body, "Is this...? looks like what Elizabeth said was a little late..".
The body belonged to Ebru a.k.a Vermouth, she was laying on the ground while her eyes still open; Isabella closed them, looks like tears fell during her last breath, Isabella then stood and searched for Ahab, she found him at last, he was laying just like Ebru, "Ahab! no!".
She went quickly to him, his body was still warm but his heart already stopped beating, "Don't die!".
She immediately gave him CPR, after each breath rescue she says "Stay with me, I can't meet her if I let you die".
Isabella kept trying and trying, so desperate to save him, but after countless times, she didn't manage to save him, she just sat and started crying, it felt like her own little brother died between her hands, "Why? How did it come to this? it's too early".
It started snowing, what beautiful weather will cover their bodies, "Just how long... your remains are disappearing...".
Two days later, in the Green Unicorn base, the bodies of Ahab and Ebru and all the members who died for their cause were put together as it was the last reunion, the light of the fire on their coffins was shining towards the sky, all the members of the Green Unicorn were standing including the guys of the Wings of Heaven and Isabella was in front them then Harry said:
"There's nothing we could have done for them, I'm sure they're all grateful boss".
And when the dawn started breaking, capsules that held their ashes were put all together, there's no difference between people when it comes to the fight in what you believe, victims from both sides for the cause, "it's your fault, we were dragged into this because of you!!" Erkan screamed at Isabella.
"What?" Said Harry.
"I thought we were all on the same side!".
Eli tried to calm him down, "He's right I should have stopped them when I had the chance, I'm the one who's responsible for this situation" said Isabella.
"They died for their purpose in life like we all will do". Said Harry.
"Come on, let's get this over with". He added.
Then one of the staff brought the capsule of Ahab, "Wait...". Isabella took the capsule from him, she then walked forward to bury it in sea but she hesitated and then she started talking quietly while crying "I won't scatter your sorrow to the heartless sea... I will be always with you... plant your roots on me" she covered her whole face with ashes.
" I won't see you end as ashes, you're all my family...".
"We're not burying them at sea, what then?". Asked Harry.
"We will make diamonds from their ashes and take them into the battle with us". She replied.
"A shining light to our brothers and sisters in arms, even in death" Harry said while looking at the sea.
In the next day, the capsules of the Wings of Heavens members were taken to the mother base while leaving the fate of the Green Unicorn in the hands of Erkan, "We lost a lot of a good people..." said Misaki.
"But didn't you say that everything went fine and the epidemic on their base were cured?". asked Emma.
"Yes, but apparently Ahab had the virus already but didn't show any symptoms, strange... why did it kill him afterwards? did he heard something where Isabella found him? something that no one should know it?". Misaki talked to herself.
"What do you mean by heard something?".
"According to the research, the virus infects brain cells, but only after a specific condition? we weren't be able to know what is this condition".
"Hm...".
"But do you know what keeps me wondering most? what the hell happened after I left the Green Unicorn? everyone was showing good signs but now all of them including others died".
"Is there a possibility that there might be a mutation and the virus still out there?".
"Maybe, but it won't be simple unless if someone had a hand".
"Are you saying that there might be a traitor inside the Green Unicorn?".
"I have no idea, I'm just saying what in the science point of view".
Then Isabella walked by but she didn't say a word, "The boss isn't in a good mood, do you think she heard us?". asked Misaki.
"I don't know, but it's the boss after all".
Later, Isabella locked herself on her office, she sat and looked at the wall, it contained strings to different pictures of the recent events, besides names, locations, dates, then she received a call.
"Isa you there? it's me, I've finished going over that floppy disc".
"What did you find?".
"Everything they did since the cold war era, but something much more intresting, I found a list of all the Rulers of The World Gov including the master mind, the disc contained all the personal data of ten people and there was someone familiar in the list".
"Let me guess, it's the old man isn't it?".
"Right, I mean his real name".
"What the hell is going on?".
"I don't know...".
"...Anyway, where are they?".
"Well, I was right about them being on Algeria years ago but...".
"Say it Liz".
"They're already dead, all of them".
"Huh?! When did it happen?".
"Um... about fifty years ago...".
"What the hell....!".
