In front of the auction house, press trucks were all nearby just waiting for these public figures to arrive. They didn't miss out on one car, moments later, famous art collectors arrived, the owner of the famous luxury fashion house walked in the red carpet, then a journalist stopped him, "Mr. Francois! Why is the Salvator Mundi getting all this attention?".
"We're all fans of art, but will we be able to reach the art of that painting?". And then he kept moving.
The old lady that her company is well known for clothing arrived in, they say she has more than six hundred-million-dollar worth of art, "Ms. Doris, will the Salvator Mundi be hanging on the wall of your house this year?".
"Nothing pleased me as watching art in front of my eyes". Then she walked in too.
Moments later everyone was in the room, the painting revealed to the bidders, everyone was amazed from one look, "Beautiful! As expected from Leonardo!".
Then the auctioneer came, "Good morning, thank you to each and every one of you for being here with us today, we're sharing this great moment to see an amazing art that dates back to centuries ago, the painting that was drawn by the one who needs no introduction, Leonardo Da Vinci, the painting Salvator Mundi!!".
They applauded, "Now, here's a brief history about the Salvator Mundi by Mr. Karle".
"Thank you, Donald, they say that Leonardo may have painted the painting for Louis XII of France and his wife Anne of Brittany around 1500 after he conquered the Duchy of Milan and took control of Genoa in the second Italian war, of course various copies of Salvator Mundi made by the followers of Leonardo, they do differ significantly from the original except the ones made by his pupils, Marco and Salaì, depicting a more youthful subject. This painting has a quite history in England since 'Charles I' which was in the possession of his wife Henrietta Maria, the painting was likely placed in a gilded frame in the nineteenth century and remained until 2005, in 1900, it was bought by the British collector Francis Cook for his collection at Doughty House in Richmond, the painting has been damaged by the previous restoration attempts and was attributed to Bernardino Luini, a follower of Leonardo, it was then sold at auction for 45£ by Cook's great grand-son as a work by Leonardo's pupil Giovanni Antonio Boltraffio, to whom the painting remained attributed until 2011". The public applauded.
