- the day peter found out you were pregnant he cried on the spot

- "as in pregnant? like baby-pregnant? like-"

- "yes, peter, pregnant. p-r-e-g-n-a-n-t."

- "really?" he had the most shocked expression, as if the words coming out of your mouth were foreign

- "you see, pete, when two people love each other very much-"

- from that day on, he never let you lift a finger throughout your pregnancy

- peter would attend your every need: making meals, cleaning, putting on washes, any other housework that needed to be done, and just simply comforting and being there for you

- peter had always been the sweetest husband ever, but after he found out you were pregnant he was about a thousand times more careful and doting towards you

- you needed a drink? he would bring you every beverage you owned you wanted to cuddle? he was laying next to you in less than a second you were going to do something? he had already done it for you

- even after your child was born, he was still so attentive

- speaking of when your child was born...

- he had anything and everything ready for when you went into labour

- apart from himself

- at least, that's what he thought

- right from the very beginning, you had zero doubts that peter would be the best dad of all time but, being peter, he doubted himself

- again, being peter, he refused to leave your side the entire time

- he cried more than you had ever seen him before once he held the baby for the first time

- and everything just seemed to click

- peter would be the first up in the night if the child cried

- truth was, he was scared

- nothing nerved him more than the fact him being spider-man could put his family in danger

- he was the most cautious as he could be, and set his spiderman-ing to the side slightly

- of course, peter was still protecting the city of new york as best as he could, but he had a family to care for nowat the end of the day, peter would always protect new york - but protecting you and your children would always be his number one cause

- plus - he had already lost so much, which he already blamed himself for, and had finally got the best family imaginable (which he really fucking deserved) and couldn't bare even risk losing it

- you better think twice if you think he wouldn't be the most proud and supportive dad of all time

- and you bet your fucking arse he would go to every single recital, play, sports game, anything your child has going on

- once your child learned how to write their name, peter took it to a tattoo parlour

- when he came home with your child's handwriting inked into his delicate skin, you fell in love with him all over again

- peter would use anything as an excuse to show people pictures or tell anecdotes of his perfect family

- helping your kids with homework was his favourite thing of all time

- not only did peter get to spend time with his children, but he got to do science

- needless to say, your kids were pretty thankful to have the hugest nerd ever as a dad considering it made school so much easier for them

- and you were definitely thankful to have a nerdy husband

- he hated discipline

- he was too soft

- especially for his child(ren)

- "i'm sorry, babe, i tried."

- "i know you did." you would pat him on the back or shoulder and simply wait for him to ask you to tell your kids what they did wrong
instead

- neither of you were really that strict - considering your kids didn't really require being firm with - but you both were overprotective regardless

- especially peter

- "babe, where's *insert kid name*?"

- "oh just with ther friends, why?"

- he would proceed to ask a million questions as to where / who they were with

- you and peter would one thousand percent embarrass your kid in front of their friends

- family board games / film nights were a very big thing in the parker household

- some people wondered how your family was so close with each other, and you and peter were so grateful to have a special bond with your children
