(Spyro's POV)

"Do you think Flame is okay?" Cynder said to Spyro.

"I don't know, he seems to be feeling depressed" said Spyro, "In any case, I'm sure Jhonny will help him"

"Not to mention it," said Sparx, "He has been a great encouragement throughout the trip. Even I like when he sings"

Cynthia heard them.

"That friend of yours will surely help him," she said.

"Yes, it sure he does" Cynder said.

At that moment, Cynthia stared at Cynder. It seemed that she had already found that similarity to herself.

"Excuse me ... Cynder, right? You were also in the group guarded by the guardians? "

"Yes..." Cynder said, nervously.

"By any chance, what color was your egg?"

Cynder tried to recall: what she remembered from the remains of her egg was that it was black, but had a purple spot in the center.

"It was black," she said, "and with a purple spot"

There was a long minute of silence, but suddenly, Cynthia began to cry. And suddenly, the black dragon hugged Cynder.

"So... that means... that you.... you are my daughter" she said.

For a moment, Cynder didn't know what to say, it seemed like he was at a loss for words

For a moment, Cynder didn't know what to say, it seemed like he was at a loss for words. And then she hugged Cynthia too. They lasted a few minutes like this.

"I already thought they looked familiar" said Sparx, "They both have that fierce fierceness"

"Sparx, that was not very nice," Spyro said.

"Spyro" Cynder said, with a few tears in her eyes "Come on, you, I'm going to stay a while with my mother"

"Okay Cynder, I understand. We'll meet you later. Come on Sparx "

And they set off towards the lake they had seen before.

Once they reached the lake, Spyro froze. At the edge of the pond, there was a white-scaled dragon who was taking a drink of water. She was really beautiful: not only did she have white scales, her sky-blue belly; she wore bracelets and a necklace; and her horns were gold and ringed like Spyro's.

"It's her?" he asked and gulped.

"I think so," Sparx said and then gave his stepbrother a shove, "Now go talk to her."

Spyro nodded and then slowly and nervously walked towards the white dragon. The dragon turned around hearing someone approach: a nervous young purple dragon, and she smiled brightly when she saw him.

"Excuse me, are you ... Sybilla?" Spyro asked nervously and the dragon smiled.

"Yes, I am", answered Sybilla with a sweet and calm voice, "what is your name young dragon?"

"My ... name is ... Spyro."

"Don't be afraid, I know who you are: I'm glad to see you finally, my son" she said and smiled as she looked at him calmly with her yellow eyes.

Spyro looked at her in surprise.

"How did you know?" he asked surprised.

"It's a long story ... But first, did you meet Flame?" Sybilla asked, and Spyro nodded.

"Yes, I do"

"Well, it's good to hear that you two are trying to get along."

"Umm ... why do you say that?" Spyro asked, he was a little confused why she started talking about Flame.

"Because ... he's your little brother."

Spyro's eyes widened, as did his mouth from shock, but before he could say anything, a scream was heard from where he had been just moments ago:

"What?!" Sparx yelled, his eyes wide and his mouth hanging open in shock.

"Oh" laughed Sybilla, "who is he?"

"Um... that's Sparx my stepbrother. It's... a long story" said Spyro was still surprised by the news, "So you say that Flame is my brother?"

"Yes ... I was pregnant when I was flying to this hideout, so he was born here," she explained.

"I see ..." Spyro was still shocked, he didn't think he had a brother ... well, one other than Sparx.

"I already know a lot about you Spyro" said Sybilla, she smiled at him and took a wing over her son. Spyro felt better when he was surrounded by his mother's placid wings.

"Did you already know about me? I don't understand" he said curiously.

"You see, when my partner did, his spirit told me all about you. It was good to see him, even for a moment. But it made me very sad that he died"

"Sorry to hear that" said Spyro, he was sad to hear that his father was dead, "I would have liked to spend some time with him."

Sybilla looked at Spyro strangely ... as if he had not understood.

"A ... it's true he didn't tell you, did he?" she said, "Well, you shouldn't have known at the time ..."

"Know what? What are you talking about mom ...?" asked Spyro very surprised.

Sybilla take a breath and speak again.

"He always protected you, Spyro" said Sybilla, "He told me that he directed your training himself"

"Seriously? But... then... what was his name? " Spyro looked very confused.

"He was your teacher and your father.... His name was Ignitus"
