6. Siblings Banter

I am currently in my room where my younger sister is scolding me like an adult one. Huh.! I knew it that it would be much more difficult to explain to her but still, I am trying! Telling dad about deal I made is a faraway process because first I have to stop the lava from this erupting Volcano.!

" How could you even agree to this deal Sorella  " Koel said as I told her what deal I have made with Mr.Shergill .

" I had no option Koel " I tried to explain her.

" How could you do this? You will marry him..!! The person whom you don't know, he wants you to spend time with him on Sundays..I mean just Wow Sorella "  Koel again said with a loud voice and now I had enough of it. 

" Koel , I understand that you are angry, hurt and worried about me but trust me I think he is a nice person. After all he came up with a deal although he would not have done that and you surely know that our father is not just a simple person he is a Mafia so how can a Mafia back off from his own words " I said 

" Fine ..Ohk but how are you going to tell dad about it," She said in a tensed voice.

" There is no need to worry about it dear. I knew it already. " Father said while entering the room.

" Dad you should take a rest this is nothing, just we both got into a stupid fight and broke one of the vases which were your favourite so we were just discussing how to tell it to you," I said obediently like a small kid.

" Sorella are you mad you don't know our dad is a Mafia he is not that stupid to be not known about your deal with Mr.Shergill just like he can't back off from his words he also has to be a clever Mafia person right," Koel said with full of sarcasm. 

" Can't you just keep quiet?" I said in anger.

" No I can't you, always land yourself in trouble by your talks. God knows how your patients take treatment from such a talkative doctor " She said making me angrier.

" Uhh you idiot, just think of yourself first you always stay on angry nose god knows how you make calm and soothing music " I taunted her and yes she was angry again.

" Could you both just keep quiet " Dad said in a high tone?

" Ye..Yes, Dad " We both said fumbling.

" Good then, so Monami the deal you have made with Mr.Shergill he had told me about it and I am okay with it.! I know why you made this decision as you don't have any other option and keeping your safety in mind I agree with it. " Dad said .

" But dad that 's not okay with me," Koel said opposing.

" Koel dear for gaining something we have to lose something so better accept it . Always fate will not be from our side " Dad said and left.

Since the time Faizi and Sanjana had known about the deal, I made they are sitting in my room with an angry face. Being a Mafia too I am a bit scared of them. 

" You both stop making such faces and go ahead with your talks, " I said .

" Fratello ( Big brother ) I know that you like her but forcing her for marriage is not okay .! I am sorry to speak the way I am doing but the deal which you have made is not accepted by me. You are clearly forcing your love on her ." Sanjana said and faizi nodded. 

" You guys, just stop it I don't like her nor I am forcing her. It was Jay Mahajan who had sent us the proposal for marriage and we have agreed to it right? Then before 10 days his daughter comes and ask me to cancel it like, really we had invited all the guests, everything was all set done. A Mafia can't back off from his words so there was no chance for me to cancel the wedding. " I said almost shouting.

" Fine Karan if you don't like her .. Then you would just marry her and leave her why do want her to stay with you on Sundays? " Faizi said in a loud voice.

" I am a Man with my principles and I won't like to break them. If I am wedded to someone I should take care of her no matter what and since we will be holding such a relationship we need to spend time, we need to talk that's it. " I said in a cold voice.

" Fratello dare you to go in your Mafia's character again. I really love you and trust you but my question is would you do the same to the other girl who would marry you? " Sanjana said holding my hands.

" Of course, I would do it Sanju. I respect all the women and you know that " I said assuring her .

" Fine then Karan I am too okay with the deal you have made but remember if you would harm her I won't spare you," Faizi said in a warning tone.

" Looks like someone is too protective for his sister in law," Sanju said teasing him.

" Of course, I am, " Faizi said with a giggle.

" Well then  Faizi Fratello let's go shopping we have to shop for our groom's clothes," Sanjana said looking at faizi.

" There is no need to do that. The designers will be coming by tomorrow you both select the clothes from their" I said declaring it.

" Fratello please I am bored of this kind of shopping and we are doing it for almost 24 years since I was a kid. Please allow me to go to the shopping Mall " Sanjana requested me like a child how could I deny her. 

" okay you may go but, " I said and she was much happy.

" Yeah..!! Thank you Fratello and I know I have to take Siddharth with me " She said and squealed in happiness. 

" Sorry Sanju I would not be able to accompany you Karan actually I have to visit Venice for some work I just received a message about that " Faizi said.

" Anything serious Faizi ? " I asked 

" No it's nothing serious to worry about Karan I'll handle it " Faizi said assuring me .

" I trust you," I said.

A/N : Where I had been ? Well , I was having cough  cold , fever since 7 days (i.e from the new year itself ) and it was not getting better so I took a test for Covid 19 and Omicron ..And hopefully it was Negative ... All in all I am not that fine also currently , I am sneezing in every 2-3 mins . Sorry to keep you all waiting but since I am not well , I couldn't help it . 

Also as a reader I am not reading any of the stories of my fav writers..I'm really sorry.!!
