Monami Mahajan
The time I ended the call with Karan the smoke filled up my room . All I was getting was a blur vision I tried calling Sid but someone placed his hands over my mouth . Suddenly I felt dizzy and here when I am opening my eyes its all dark . I'm tied with ropes all around .Probably it's an attack but who planned it and how de he managed to cross our tight security? All this questions were roaming in my mind when some light entered the room .
" Idiot why have you abducted me? What are you gonna get?" I asked shouting .
" Mrs.Shergill please slow down your voice I am not deaf ." The person said .
How did he know that I am married to Karan? Only few of his trusted friends and gang members knew this it was kept a secret . It means someone whom me trust had stabbed our back.
" Don't think much Mrs.Shergill I will not harm you much just answer my few questions "The man said .
" And why do you think I'll answer them? I am not giving an exam afterall " I replied sarcastically .
" You have a good sense of humour but I am not willing to take this so better answer " The man said in an angry voice .
" I'll try take your stupid quiz Mr. but I have the right to see you right? You had made a very big accomplishment by bringing me here ." I said .
" Before seeing my charming face answer my question. Do you like Karan? If its yes, then too I like you more" The man asked and I smiled .
" Our relationship is something between us but if you are willing to know our mutual feelings I would advice you watching us sealing our lips together." I answered sarcastically .
" It means you like him Wo-ho! let's make it painful for him then " The man said with a smirk .
" Ohh ghosh! Such a crap you are! I mean we married against our wish , how could we just end up having feelings for each other " I said while my heart denied .
" That's the reason you are here! To be my beloved wife and Karan's reason for pains. This is indeed fun. " The man said .
" Wife of a nerd like you? Just in your never happening dreams. " I said .
" Monu just see my face and then decide ." The man said .
My breath choked listening this voice , all the past moments were in front of me .Lights were on and the person standing in front of me was Adrin . The one who I hate the most in this world .
" How is the surprise babes! " Adrin said while I had a disgusted face .
" Just like your face worst " I said while turning my face away .
" Look Monami just tell me Karan has kept my sister? I beg you ." His tone suddenly changed into an emotional one and he untied my ropes .
" I am not going to believe you " I said .
" Is that so then have a look at this pictures ." He said and turned on the projector .
His sister Annie was my best friend since high school , I really loved her .Things got wrong when Adrin got obsessed with me and I didn't wanted any relationship with him . I stopped talking to her as she insisted on being away from her to avoid Adrin .I told father regarding since then wherever I would go his people would follow me .
The projector displayed pictures of Karan with Annie and they were quite close I couldn't resist it .But I knew he would never cheat on me I trust him no matter what.
" Why are you showing me this edited photos Adrin , Stop messing around and leave me!" I said .
" These are not edited photos Monami it was back then when Karan and Annie were in a relationship ." Adrin said and it hurted me alot .
I never asked Karan regarding his dating life nor he did. We were tied in a marriage which now blossomed as friendship.But whatever might be the reason I am MARRIED to him .
" So what! it is his past and I am his present .That's it " I said loudly .
" It might be past for him and you but not for me. Do you know Annie is missing from 4 years just when she told me that she broke up with Karan " Adrin said making me shock .
" You are lying right? cause you want to take revenge for what I rejected you " I said trembling .
" No Monami if that was so then think that why did I untied your hands and left you walking freely ?" Adrin said .
" So what was that you said that you want me to be your wife?" I asked being suspicious .
"I was just checking if you really like Karan or not." Adrin said.
" If that was the matter regarding your sister Annie then why didn't you came straight to me and talked about it?" I asked
" Don't you remember your contract? If you meet a man you would never do training again" Adrin said .
" Yes but how do you know it?" I asked surprisingly .
" I have my own sources . I'm not the same Adrin like before ." Adrin said
" Don't tell me that some of our members are with you?" I said .
" Not everyone is trustworthy Monami ." Adrin said and he just hitted me with an iron rod from back .
" Just like me Monami Mahajan " He smirked evily .
