Vol. 2 Episode 2: Happy Birthday I guess

The episode starts with you and Not waking up to Ozpin calling you into his office.

"Why do you think he called you in?" Not asks, standing on the ceiling as you pull on the gift coat.

"I dunno, probably has to do with my 'extra credit' work," you guess, grabbing Lumine and sheathing it at your hip.

"You're not taking A?" Not asks, looking at Aether which sat on your nightstand.

"Nah. I've been too reliant on it lately," you explain as you pocket Akatsuki.

"Yeah, I can see that. It is pretty overpowered for a revolver," Not agrees as you put on the Web-Shooters. "See ya later, Y/N,"

"See ya, Not," you bid Not farewell and run out of the door but immediately run into someone. "Ow..."

You look at the person that you ran into and see distinct red hair.

"Sorry," Pyrrha Nikos apologizes and helps you up.

"Oh, it's you. What do you want, Nikos?" you ask as you take her hand.

"Oh, I was wondering if you could do me a small favor," Pyrrha smiles at you.

"Yeah, no, at least, not at the moment. I gotta get up to Ozpin's office so I'll text you later," you say, as you rush past Pyrrha.

"O-okay, wait, but you don't have my number!" Pyrrha calls after you.

"Check again!" you shout back, continuing to run.

Pyrrha checked her scroll and there your name was. How you did this? No idea.

Later~

"Hey, sys," you call out to your Semblance.

The familiar annoying buzzing sound fills your ears as time slows down around you.

Hello Y/N. Happy Birthday.

"Thanks. Show me my stats from a year ago," you request, your stats from a year ago being shown on a blindingly white screen.

"That's certainly an improvement," you say as you look at the difference. "Defense has gone up by quite a lot, still can't take that many hits though."

All of your stats have increased by over 15 points in the last year.

"Thanks for stating the obvious, sys, anyway I'll see you later," you dismiss the screens as time resumes its normal pace.

You enter Ozpin's office and see Ozpin, Professor Glynda Goodwitch, and General James Ironwood.

"Oz whatdya need?" you ask, completely ignoring the other two people in the room.

"Oh, I don't need anything from you at the moment. Though I do have another 'extra credit' assignment for you later today," Ozpin says.

"Another sleepless night," you sigh and turn around to leave.

"One more thing," Oz calls out to you.

"What?" you ask, looking Ozpin in the eye.

"At least acknowledge the other people in the room," Ozpin requests, gesturing to Ironwood and Glynda.

"Hey, how's it going?" you greet Ironwood and Glynda simultaneously and then turn to leave again.
