Vol. 2 Episode 9: Break or Breach?

The episode begins with Y/N walking up to a White Fang general who wields a rapier.

"Oh, I've heard of you, you're that human kid that's been going around killing generals," The General smirked at Y/N before dodging a slash from Lumine. "Hoh, you're just as bloodthirsty as they say!"

"You talk too much," Y/N sheathed Lumine and took a deep breath before tightening his grip on the hilt, lowering his stance, and breathing out through his nose.

"Woah woah woah, hey hey hey!" The General sheathed his rapier and started waving his hands. "I haven't even told you which General I am yet!"

"Huh, yeah, forgot that I have targets for a second," Y/N stood up straight.

Y/N let go of Lumine and held out his hand for a handshake. The General took Y/N's hand, gripping it in a manly way. Y/N gripped back, even letting out a small explosion in his hand.

"I'm the Crow General," Crow smiled at Y/N before being flung back by a ten-point explosion.

"Crow..." Y/N spat, reaching for Aether.

"Hey, I thought this was a sword fight," Crow said cockily, unsheathing his rapier.

Y/N's hand stopped before he instead grabbed Lumine.

"Fine, I'll grant you your final wish," Y/N said before exploding towards Crow.

Crow dodged the downward slash, stabbing Y/N in the leg.

Y/N brushed off the pain, quickly planting his feet and slashing upwards, barely grazing Crow.

Crow sent a barrage of thrusts into Y/N's right arm, his dominant arm.

Y/N let his right arm hang loosely and held Lumine in his left, not even acknowledging the pain.

Crow dodged a diagonal slash that led into a straightforward thrust that was also dodged.

Y/N held back a cry of pain as his upper arm was pierced all the way through, having to resort to putting Lumine in his mouth.

'Only use QR when I know I can beat him, or I'm about to die,' Y/N thought as his hands flexed Before he rushed at Crow.

Crow stabbed Y/N in the shoulder but he ignored the pain, swinging up with surprising force and leaving a shallow cut on Crow's shirt.

Y/N switched grips and landed a slightly deeper cut on Crow's shoulder.

'This kid's neck strength is otherworldly!' Crow thought as he watched the wounds on Y/N disappear. "Huh?!"

"Wanna know a secret?" Y/N asked with a slight smirk. "I usually don't like going all out during fights because I like hurting people. Like, I really like hurting people. Especially people who've wronged me in the past."

Y/N eyes began to glow red, the same red as Not's eyes when he's pissed.

"What in the... ?" Crow raised an eyebrow before barely dodging Lumine as it had just flown past him. "Shit!"

Y/N quickly rushed in, punching Crow in the ribs before grabbing his arm and breaking it.

"AGH!" Crow cried out in pain before being by muffled a fist in his mouth.

"Shut up! The pain's only just begun," Y/N giggled crazily.

Flashback~

Blood Rage: this ability allows the user to enter a state in which they have enhanced abilities at the cost of the user's sanity while the skill is active.

Though Y/N's eyes skimmed over most of his skills, this one stuck out to him.

Flashback over~

Y/N looked over his handiwork, a smile on his blood-covered face.
