"I want you to allow me obtain the banished powers of the Darkness."
"Huh?! Rose do you even know what you are asking?" Enzo asked me with a horrified face.
"Yes. We need it to undo a winding course on some monsters." I spoke.
"Well...uh..." Enzo stammered.
"Enzo, we really need it." Erebus added to my statement.
"I--uh." Enzo looked away. He motioned his hands for all the reapers and other creatures present in the hall to return to their own homes. Why?
"Does it require a blood sacrifice or something?" I asked remembering some crazy novels I used to read before.
"What?! No, you read way too many books, Rose. Of course, now that a dark lord is here there is no problem in managing them...uh...the thing is..." He hesitantly spoke.
"Yes?" I prompted him.
"I...well...I never...banished them."
"HUH?!" Me, Erebus and a reaper, who floated slowly behind us, gasped.
"Then, what was all that warning and threats for?!" Erebus yelled at him. Enzo slouched, devastatingly defeated.
"Well? Speak?" Erebus threatened.
"That was only to scare off the black magic users. When the powerful techniques were banished, they won't start a war or try to besiege each other. You see, there was no dark lord then to balance off the dark users. But now---"
"ARE YOU TELLING ME YOU DID ALL THAT HOGWASH ONLY TO SCARE OFF A FEW BLACK MAGIC USERS WHILE RISKING THE WHOLE EXISTENCE OF DARKNESS?" Erebus roared at Enzo, in a fit of rage.
Enzo got down on his knees in front of Erebus who maximized his mist's volume and now towered over 50 feet.
Is the king of hell really crouching down in front of our tsun-Erebus?!
"I'm sorry. It was the only idea I had. You were running around finding the perfect person so I couldn't trouble you. I sent a warning with a small illusion where the powers were banished. Don't blame me too much. That's all I could come up with at the time being!" Enzo squinted his eyes in fear.
I guess Erebus isn't a person to be messed with.
"So, that means, I can just undo it right? No, crazy rituals and blah blah blah?" I asked, curiously. Truth be told, I did not understand the whole situation but bits and pieces helped me sum up.
"Yes, Rose. Ahh, I want to annihilate you, Enzo." Erebus screeched.
"Cool! So, how do I do it?" I questioned trying to act unfazed.
"Just how you always did. You just need to tame the intoxicated monsters. I'm pretty sure when you walk in, they'll recognize you." Enzo answered.
"Wait, was this why Nidas was exasperated with you the other day?" Erebus asked, suspiciously.
"Yes, he found out that he had the ability to use his gem back again and well, he came over and pummeled me for lying. I'm sorry." He explained and apologized. I nodded.
"I didn't need to come here to do all this, huh?" I asked, skeptically.
"True. But, on the bright side, we can complete both of them and get back faster now." Erebus sighed.
"How long will it take?"
"Not as much as half a year anymore." I scoffed at the use of Erebus's words.
One more question!
"Enzo, how did my soul split into two fragments as Rose and Blair?" I voiced out. It was bothering me for awhile.
