A New Life

Chapter 1

You were the new girl in town and the new girl at school. You were moving into your things into your new house just when you saw a cute boy walk by. Not one but two cute boys!!! You thought "Am I seeing doubles or are they both super cute twins?" They seemed to be going back to the house... Right next to yours...

Your POV:
OMG! I can't believe these boys are living in the house right next to mine! How cool is that? I wonder if I should go greet myself... Would it be awkward? Nah... It's not like it's me making first impression or anything... Wait... OMG IT IS TOTALLY ME MAKING A FIRST IMPRESSION! I should change my clothes and do my makeup and do my hair!!! *you go into the house and get all dolled up* Ok I'm done... Here goes nothin...

You walk up to the boy's front door and knock 4 times. You hear someone unlock the door. A tall woman with light brown hair opens the door. "Hi there!" The woman says. "Hi. I'm new to the neighborhood. I just wanted to introduce myself to my new neighbors." The woman smiles at you and says "Well then... Welcome to the neighborhood sweetheart! I'm Mrs. Dolan but you can call me (whatever their mom's name is 😂)." You smile politely and say "Thanks. I'm y/n. Nice to meet you!" You hold out your hand politely and she shakes your hand. "Come in. Come in." She says. "Ok." You take off your shoes when you enter the home. She leads you to her living room and you see the two boys sitting there. They didn't notice you until Mrs. Dolan said, "Ethan, Grayson. I would like you to meet y/n." You smile and say hi with a small wave. They both get up to shake your hand and greet you. You can't help but notice how cute they both are. You make eye contact with them as you shake your hands but you still don't know who is who. "Umh I'm sorry to ask but how can I tell who is who?" They both look at each other and smile. Then Grayson says, "I don't know maybe you'll just have to guess each time." You laugh a little and try to hide your blushing. "Haha anyways, you see the birthmark on the side of my chin?" Grayson asks. "Yeah." You say shyly. "That means you are talking to me. Grayson." He smiles after he ends his sentence and you smile back and nod. "And obviously if you don't see the birthmark you're talking to Ethan." They offer you a drink but you politely say no. You stay over for a while and get to know them better. You guys laugh and enjoy your conversation. Grayson politely excused himself for a minute and then you and then there was an awkward silence. "So.." Ethan said trying to discontinue the awkwardness. You laugh a little. You guys make eye contact and you feel a spark between you two. "So who do you like better so far y/n? Me or Grayson?" "I don't know. It's hard to choose. You guys are nothing alike I'll say that. But I think I like you better. You're more chill and laid back and funny while Grayson is also chill but he's goofy and silly. Not in a bad way though." You say. "I'm glad to hear that." He says and smiles at you and then looks back at the floor. "How are you liking me so far?" You ask Ethan. "Oh I'm loving you so far." He says. "You also seem kinda chill but kinda goofy and fun like Grayson." Grayson came back downstairs and asks what he missed. "Oh nothing." You say. "Me and Ethan were just talking." You think about how much more you like Ethan than Grayson. They may look the same but their personalities are so different. "I should probably get going guys. I'm starting at my new school tomorrow and I should go pick out my outfit. Ya know... Girl stuff. But it was nice meeting you guys." You smile and get up. "Wait what school are you attending?" Ethan asked. "Umh... Lockwood High School." You say while grabbing your jacket and walking towards the door. "Oh cool! We go there too! See you tomorrow at school then y/n." Ethan says excitedly. You smile and are about to open the door when Ethan says, "Y/n wait!" You turn around and look at him. "Here..." It was his phone number! "Oh I'll give you mine too." Grayson said. "Hey do you want me to walk you home?" Ethan said. "Umh I live one house away it'll take me thirty seconds." You say trying not to blush. "Oh I know I just wanted to say goodbye and introduce myself to your family real quick." "Oh ok then." You say with a smile. You put on your shoes and walk out the door with Ethan right behind you. He looks at you but you act like you can't see him. You look back at him and he's still looking at you. "What?" You ask with a smile. "Oh nothing." He says looking down at the side walk embarrassed. You smile and blush but he doesn't notice. You guys interlock hands and you look at each other and smile but then quickly let go. You stop at your front door and he says goodbye. You look at each other a little longer and he kisses you on the cheek. You look surprised. "Oh I'm sorry." He says blushing. "I didn't mean-" You cut him off by kissing him back on the cheek and walking in the house smiling and waving goodbye before shutting the door. He waves back.

Your POV:
I can't believe that just happened...
