His Safe Place | Kim Taehyung

Part 5

You guys were currently at the hospital because Taehyung sprained his ankle after almost getting hit by the car. After seeing his condition you told Yoongi to drive you to the hospital. When the doctor did some tests it came out his ankle was sprained. The nurse cleaned his wounds on his face while the doctor said to note out so much pressure on his right foot. 

Luckily Yoongi, Taehyung's senior in the music class, quickly pulled him which prevented Taehyung from getting runned on by the car. The whole time you just kept quiet and only spoke a few words. Taehyung sensed that you were mad at him for fighting with somebody else. What maddened you more was that he was recklessly fighting on the side of the street which was really dangerous. 

"Yoongi sunbae, can you please drive us home?" You requested. "There is no need for that. I can still drive." Taehyung said. "Can you keep quiet for sometime?" You looked at Taehyung and your gaze clearly told him not to say anything further or it would lead to something unpleasant. "Yeah I can do that no problem." Yoongi sensed the tension and broke it with his words. 

Taehyung stood up, put his hand on your shoulder while you wrapped your hand around his waist for support. You could see he twisted his ankle pretty badly which caused him to winch in pain. Walking to the parking lot you made him sit on the backseat while you sat next to him. Yoongi saw the tense atmosphere but still didn't say anything. You told him the address and he drove you there. 

Halting in front of the apartment you went out. "Stay here I will come in a minute. Just don't move." You warned and pressed the doorbell so that he could easily enter the house without standing for too long. 

"Man, your girlfriend is really angry." Yoongi said. "Wife." Taehyung spoke. "What! when did you even marry her?" Yoongi asked. "Three weeks ago. But why is she so angry with me? That bastard was talking ill about her, that's why I punched him." Taehyung huffed. "Taehyung, you almost died. What do you expect her to do? Kiss you?"  Yoongi's voice was monotone. 

"Hyung, you don't understan-" Taehyung was cut off by Yoongi. "Taehyung I know how it feels but what would  happen to her if you are not there. You also need to understand her. Now go inside and solve the problem." Taehyung nodded. At the same time a knock was heard on the window. Taehyung opened the door while you helped him get out. "Thank you sunbae, I appreciate the help and sorry for troubling." You bowed to him. "No problem. And both of you take care of yourselves." He spoke and drove away. 

You helped Taehyung enter the house while your mother and Mrs. Lee rushed to both of you. Your mother helped Taehyung to sit on the couch while Mrs. Lee brought water for both of you. You took of his shoes while he looked at your every movement. You haven't looked at his eyes since you left the hospital. "Y/n, I'm sorry." You didn't say anything. You left him there without saying anything to prepare the bath for him. 

"What happened?" You mother asked. "Mom." He sighed. Taking a deep breath he started explaining everything. He was looking at his lap, playing with his fingers. Your mother sat next to him and patted his head. "Taehyung-ah, she is just worried about you. Her father died in a similar way which is why she got so worked up. And if she is angry or finds something really unpleasant about anything she either shouts at the person or tries to calm herself which takes a lot of time for her to again speak to that person. Just know that even though she acts tough she sometimes needs somebody to lean on. And like her father she doesn't want to lose you." You mother explained the situation. 

"Let's go to the room you need to take a shower first." You came down and said without looking at him. Taehyung looked at your mother and she nodded her head to go with you. Taehyung got up and went to the master bedroom. You took off his shirt before entering the shower. He wanted to talk to you but he didn't know how he would console you. It was the first time you were angry at him. And he didn't know how to melt your angriness away.
