𝐋𝐄𝐓 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐓 𝐇𝐎𝐋𝐃 𝐅𝐀𝐒𝐓 | ˢᵗᵉᵛᵉⁿ ᶜᵒⁿᵏˡⁱⁿ

✿︎  𝐈𝐓 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐘 𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐄𝐑. 𝐒𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐎𝐋 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑,  which meant no more tests, no more assignments, and pulling all-nighters, no more homework and no more lunches spent staring at her plate, contemplating eating the probably posinous cafeteria food, and only eating the cake.

It also meant the Conklins would be arriving soon. They always spent summer in Cousins, but this summer wouldn't be like any of the previous summers, Conrad was starting college soon. And next year, he probably would be too busy to come down and visit. So this could he their last summer all together. And she couldn't wait, especially since she looked a lot different than last summer according to her best friend and boyfriend.
                                                     
Charlotte, Steven, and Jeremiah were all working at the club this year. Charlotte was only doing it because she could spend time with her best friend, Addison, and her boyfriend, Matt, who were both working at the club as well.

Charlotte had planned her summer out perfectly. She would spend as much time as she could with Matt and Addie and the least amount of time possible at home because seeing Belly looking at Conrad was becoming unbearable.

✿︎ 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐋𝐎𝐓𝐓𝐄 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐋𝐀𝐘𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐎𝐍 𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐁𝐄𝐃, on her stomach with her left hand resting on an old towel in front of her. A light purple nail polish in her right, she carefully applied it to her nails, while the colour on her right dried. Once she had finished, she blew on them, hoping they'd dry quicker.

She had her airpods playing her summer playlist on shuffle. Spotify was currently playing Good Girls by Five Seconds Of Summer. She hummed along as she applied the top coat. The sound of a car honking startled her, but she grinned when she remembered what that meant. She took her airpods out and put them back in their case, deconnecting them from her phone.

"They're here!" She heard her mom shout from the kitchen as she clampered off her bed. She quickly brushed her hair and pulled her shorts down slightly to cover her hot pink bikini bottoms that had cartoony- style yellow flowers on them. She tightened  her matching bikini top at the back before throwing a baggy t-shirt over the top.

She grabbed her phone from her bed, she walked quickly towards the front door, which was already open, and Jeremiah was rushing down the driveway. "What's up?" Jeremiah asked. "Hi... oh my god!" Laurel said, walking over to hug the younger Fisher brother. "Hello!" He said as Laurel laughed.

Charlotte appeared behind her brother as Laurel and Jeremiah broke the embrace. "Laurel! Hi!" She greeted, wrapping her arms around the womean tightly. "Hello!" the woman said, Charlotte pulled away just as Jere ran towards Steven, wrapping their arms around each other. "Oh, Charlotte, just look at you!" Laurel said, patting the girl's arm. "Gosh, you're so beautiful, so grown up!" She said to which Charlotte smiled. "Well, I don't know about that if anyone here is beautiful, it's you." She said. "Aww, you're so sweet, I'm going to go say 'Hi' to your mom, alright?" The woman nodded before heading towards Susannah.

She looked at her phone before walking over to Steven, and as she did, she turned on the song Hey Stephen by Taylor Swift. 
His face dropped as the song was turned to max volume.

"You suck!" He yelled, flipping the girl off. Charlotte laughed at him before wrapping her arms around him. "Hey, Steven." she said, turning the song off. "Hey." He said. "Did you get taller?" he asked, taking a good look at the girl. "Probably? I don't know?" She shrugged with a slight laugh. "Sorry, it's just you look different." He told her. "Good different?" She tilted her head to the left. "Oh good, different absolutely." he nodded. "Okay, you're officially being weird." she told him.
