I was going home from work a little bit anxious today. All because I had to tell my girlfriend, Rosé, that I would be participating of a dating show and I know she won't be happy about it but I can't not go.
I'm a acting and dance trainee by yg which meant I wasn't so famous, i had a few roles on some dramas but they weren't big roles. Yg chose me to be part of this dating show because it would bring some attention to the company and they were also paying yg for my participation, they said they've watched a few dramas that i was in and thought i was very pretty. Of course I wouldn't date anyone there because I had a girlfriend which no one knows about it because Rosé was very famous and yg wouldn't approve of her dating a trainee anyways.
The dating show was the famous Single's Inferno but this time they wanted to put younger people in it between their 19's and 27's, I myself was 22 and yes Chaeyoung was older than me but mentally it was the other way around.
I opened the door of our shared apartment just to see her focused on her phone and eating chips, she looked exactly like a chipmunk.
"Hi love, yeah hi baby i missed you oh i missed you too Rosie yeah great conversation" I said trying to give her a hint that i was home and wanted attention for 5 seconds but still no reaction so I walked to the couch where she was seated snatched her phone from her hands and ran away from her, she immediately came after me screaming for her phone back so I decided to tease her more by opening her phone and see what she was doing, she started running after me again trying to get her phone but no luck. I didn't pay too much attention when I opened her phone first time but when I saw she was editing a picture I stopped running and she ended up colliding against me and snatching her phone back. I was too stunned to speak after what i saw, my eyes were blessed just now.
"You weren't supposed to see that just yet" Rosie pouted.
"When then? Tonight? Because I would love to see you in that sexy lingerie as soon as possible in person" I said raising my eyebrows and with a big smirk on my face.
"Well now you will have to wait longer just because you ruined the surprise" Chae walked away and sat on the couch again, i followed her and sat right next to her.
"Love? Can i have 5 minutes of your attention? After that you can talk with your other hoes and send those sexy pictures to them but tight now i want you to be mine and mine only yeah?" I gave her my puppy eyes so she would give in.
"Yah who do you take me for? I only love you those pictures were for you while you were working but you ruined my plan" Rosie was now sitting on my lap with her arms around my neck and her hand in my hair. She started a soft kiss that turned into a more heated kiss and then I started kissing her neck and collarbone but it wasn't in a sexual way. I remember that i have to tell her about the news yg told me today so I stopped kissing her neck and pulled away from her so I could see her face, Rosie just stared at me with pure love in her eyes and that always made me feel some type of way.
"I have something to tell you" I pressed my lips together, I wasn't nervous because I know how to handle Rosie but it wasn't nice what i was going to say.
"Oh, that doesn't sound good" She looked at me worried.
"So i need you to not overreact about this because it's really not that big of a deal and i will love you anyways... but yg wants me to go into a dating show and I don't have much say in it as you know. I just want you to know that I won't take this seriously and i will try to make friends and have fun" Rosé didn't say much besides
"You're not going" She got up and went to the kitchen, i groaned and threw my head back.
"You can't decide that for me because your name is not yg luckily for me" I got up to meet with her in the kitchen, she was getting a cup of water almost as she was getting ready to argue.
"Well but you're not going, i'm not letting you participate on a dating show where people will flirt with you" Rosé looked annoyed but also unfazed as if she knew she was going to win this discussion which she wouldn't because this was yg's decision.
"Chaeyoung, my love, we don't have much say in this and you know it besides everything is already handled they just decided to warn me as last. You have nothing to worry because while im there the only thing in my mind will be you and it's only for a few days" I got close to her and hugged her but she wasn't hugging me back so I looked at her.
"The problem is not you it's the people there. What for dating show is it anyways? Why it had to be you? There's so many handsome people out there and they picked my girlfriend" Chae was sulking and it was the cutest thing ever. I love to see Chae jealous because it shows me that she doesn't want to lose me and reassures me of how much she loves me but of course when she was mad jealous I understand and i try to comfort as much i can because i only have eyes for her.
"Oh so i'm not handsome okay ouch, the show is single's inferno we watched the first season together but they want younger people for this season. Don't worry no one will flirt with tour not handsome girlfriend anyways since she's not handsome enough according to you" I trued to lift up her mood by joking around and it worked.
"Idiot that's not what i meant... I don't like this one bit" Rosé looked at me with puppy eyes and i melted if i couldn't I would've drop it but I can't it's just not my decision.
"I don't like it as much as you do but I pinky promise that nothing will happen and when i come back you can make whatever you want with me and i will treat you to whatever food you want for a week okay baby?" She still had her sulky face on but we still did the pinky promise. After that I made her slightly jump so I could carry her to our room so we could watch a movie and cuddle.
Once we were both settled Henk jumped on the bed and stayed on top of me, i petted him to the point that i was more focused on him than the movie and Rosé.
"This is unfair even Henk gets more attention than i do imagine when you're in some desert island with a bunch of pretty people. Rosé? Who's that? Never even heard about such person" her statement made me laugh hard that it woke Henk up so he moved away to our feet.
"Wow you're so dramatic but i still love you, actually i love you more. I thought you were the one who said and I quote 'if you want to date me you need to conquer Henk first'" Rosie frowned her forehead and crossed her arms.
"Yeah but I didn't tell you to date Henk" I grabbed her face and gave her a long lasting kiss, her mood lifted up. I kissed all over her face and she was giggling, the whole room was filled with her wholesome giggles.
When I stopped to look at her face my view was ethereal, she looks so beautiful the most beautiful woman i've ever seen. I wouldn't exchange her for anything in this world not even the most money, the best job, the greatest fame, nothing would make me exchange this amazing woman right in front of me.
"I love you Park Chaeyoung" I said making her blush at my sudden confession.
"I love you too Jeong Y/n" We shared a passionate kiss and fell asleep in each other's arm like the world was going to end tomorrow and this was the last time we would get to have each other embrace.
