Rosé's pov
In a week from now it will be valentine's day and I can't even spend it with my girlfriend, y/n, and i felt so bad, we made plans for it but my mom needed me last minute to help her with the bakery. Y/n didn't seem to mind much but i still felt awful about it, it's a special day where we would be focusing on each other 24/7 instead of sharing our attention with uni, family and friends, it was going to me us alone the whole day.
I work as a part timer at my mom's bakery every day after uni for a few hours till my mom closed the store. Sometimes y/n came over to make me company while I work up but she ended up distracting me flirting every chance she got with me, my mom would be so entertained with it and make fun off me of how flustered I got even though I've been dating y/n for 5 years. Y/n coming to the bakery was great but I hated that everyone eyed her like she was some piece of meat, specially some school girls from the high school down the street.
Y/n wouldn't even notice which it made me feel at ease.
I was walking home from work to the apartment me and y/n share together. Y/n is probably still studying so I brought her some cakes and stuff.
Our apartment wasn't so far from my mom's bakery so I would only need to walk for 15 minutes, normally y/n waits for me a few stores away from the bakery so I would make home safe but today she didn't which probably means she's still studying.
When I opened the door of our apartment I was immediately met with Hank jumping of excitement for seeing me. I walked to our room where y/n was probably studying just to find her asleep on top of her books, i smiled at this and got on my knees next to her shaking her shoulder softly so she wouldn't get scared.
"Baby come to the bed, you'll sleep better there" She opened her eyes and immediately smiled at me followed by a quick peck on my lips.
"I'm glad you're home safe, how was work?" She asked still a little sleepy.
"It was okay could be better if you were there... actually never mind I couldn't stand people looking at you like they could just steal your from me" I put on a fake pout on my lips.
"But they can't because i'm not even looking at them I'm always looking at the most beautiful girl I've ever laid eyes on" She reassured me with a hug. I smiled at her and she kissed me this time it was longer and sweeter.
"I brought you cakes, my mom said to bring them since you have to deal with me and school the whole time" I rolled my eyes remembering what my mom told me. My mom loves y/n, she treats y/n better than she treats me she definitely has a favorite and its not Alice as well.
"Yeah I also think I deserve it from dealing with the most annoying person in the world" Y/n said and I put my hand on my chest pretending to be hurt.
"You need to decide yourself baby, am I beautiful or annoying?" I fought back with a smirk.
"Both but it's okay because i love you" She gave me a kiss on my cheek and then my neck.
I pushed her away before it would become hard to stop her.
"I love you too but you need to eat, come let's eat in the kitchen" We got up and went to the kitchen.
We ended up eating everything my mom gave me leaving nothing for tomorrow and we went to sleep after because we were both very tired.
Y/n's pov
I woke up before Chae since I had only morning classes today, after I would stop by Chae's mom bakery to ask her something.
Right now I was maki breakfast so when Chae wakes up she can eat, she has an awful habit of getting late and have no time to make some breakfast for herself.
