After walking a while, we came to an unknown street and we had no idea where we were. I held Jack close to me and he was pretty scared.
Then I saw a little girl with dark hair and blue eyes. She was wearing a red jacket and dirty blue jeans. She couldn't be older then three. She looked scared at us. "Hello." I said kindly. "Who are you?" asked the girl. "My name is William and this is my husband Jack." I said. "My name is Esme." she replied.

"Where are your parents?" asked Jack worried. "They abandoned me." said Esme sadly. "Poor thing." I replied. She had no relatives who could take care of her. "Would you like to live with us?" I asked and she smiled happily. "Yes." she said and hugged my leg. I picked her up in my arms. "I love you and daddy so much." replied Esme and gave us a hug. "We love you too." I said.
"Daddy and papa were mean to me." she replied. "Who were your parents?" asked Jack. "John." said Esme. Jack gasped. Esme was his stepdaughter. "Don't worry pumpkin, you're safe now. He can't hurt you." he replied. I picked up my phone and called Olivia. I told her what had happened. "I'll take care of it." she said. "Thank you." I replied.
Esme is so cute and they'll be wonderful parents to her.
