Hollywood of the arts orchestra is an elite music group full of very talented musicians. Brandon aka Mr Hall is their music instructor. He is very strict, he does not play the radio when it comes down to his music.
Victoria was the leader of the violin group. She has the hugest crush on Brandon. She always watches him while she plays. Brandon was in his office. Victoria was setting up her instrument while she glanced at Brandon. He catches her eye & grins. She blushes & looks away. "I see you eyeing Mr Hall" Her bestie Jordan says Jordan was the leader of the saxophones. She grins "he's so fine" "He's so mean tho" "I know but he is a dream" "Well you can have him, I got my eyes on Timmy" "Oh the leader of the trumpets" ? "Yes he is such a cutie" "Have you talked to him" ? "Have you talked to Mr hall"? "No" "Exactly, so we're even" Victoria laughs.Jordan slightly waves at Timmy. He awkwardly waves back. "He is so weird" Timmy's friend Mystical said "I don't think he's weird...I think he's kind of cute" Timmy says as he glares at Jordan Mystical laughs & does a few warm ups on his trumpet. Christina was another musician. She was the leader of the clarinet. She also had a crush on Mr hall & she knew Victoria did too.Christina catches Victoria eyes & walks in Mr halls office. "Hi Mr hall" "Yes Christina what can I help you with" ? "I was having some trouble with a few notes , do you think you can give me some private lessons after class" ? "Your my leader, your the best of the clarinets, you never needed help" ? "I know but it's just these few notes that's troubling me sir, could you pretty please help me with a cherry on top" ? She bats her eyes Victoria was glaring back at her so crazy. He sighs. "Ok Christina I will help you after class" "Awww thank you so much Mr Hall" "Yes well hurry back to your seat , class is about to begin" She nods , flips her hair & switches out his office. Victoria saw everything & she was furious. She clenched her fists on the sly. Christina looks back at her wit a evil grin.
Mr Hall walks out his office. "Ok attention class, warm up is over" ! Everybody slowly stopped playing their instruments. "So you all know that we have a big music recital at the starlight palace this Friday at 9 & I need y'all to be the absolute best, because some very famous orchestra musicians will be their, such as Amy tanners, Dennis potters& Jackie Brown, all of the best & black musicians of Hollywood" ! Everybody gasped & whispered to each other in excitement.Jordan glances back at Victoria wit a big smile. She throws the thumbs up. He throws his hands up with excitement. "alright I need everybody to start from the top" ! Everybody held up their instruments to play.
"Stop" ! Mr Hall yells Everybody stopped playing as they glanced all around at each other. "Y'all sound horrible! It's disgusting to my ears, do it again" ! Everybody begin to play their instruments again. "Enough" ! Some people nearly jumped. "I almost threw my stick at your head Jordan" "I'm sorry sir, my throat is a bit sore this morning" "I don't care ! I need you to play that saxophone right or don't play at all" ! "I'm sorry sir, I'll do better" "Oh you better do better or you mines" ! He nods & swallows hard. Timmy glances back at him "it's ok" he mouths the words. Jordan smiles. "Victoria your supposed to be the leader of the violins & your slacking, play the fuckin song" ! "I I was" "Oh so your saying I don't know what the hell I'm talking about" ? Christina chuckles on the sly. "I didn't say that Mr hall , I'm just saying I thought I was playing the right notes" "Well you wasn't , it was flat" ! "I'm sorry" "Play the note" "Right now"? "Yes" "Just me" ? "Just you , I wanna hear only you" Everybody was glaring at Victoria. Her hands shook as she held her instrument up. She has bad anxiety. Her heart was beating & she felt really nervous. She plays the note.Her throat shook. "No again" She tries to play it again. "Again" She do it again. "Again! B sharp VICTORIA B SHARP" ! Tears filled her eyes. Her hands shook tremendously. "AGAIN" ! She suddenly jumps up & runs out the room. Christina laughs & whispers to her mates. "Victoria" ! Brandon yells Jordan runs out after her. Victoria was by the wall crying. "Are you ok" ? "I think I had a panic attack" "Let's go to the vending machine & get you some water" Timmy comes out & sees them at the vending machine. "Is she ok" ? "Yeah she had a panic attack" "Oh man that's crazy, I wish Mr Hall wasn't so harsh" "He just wants me to be the best, he knows how much potential I have" "But he made you cry" Jordan said "I was just being weak" "No you were just being human, & humans show emotion when their being put under pressure" Timmy said "No I should have had that note perfect, he had every right to scold me" "Your just taking up for him because you have a crush on him, but that's still no excuse for him being so hard on you" Jordan said Brandon walks out the room. "Jordan & Timmy go back inside, I'll talk to her" They nodded & walked back in. "Hey listen I'm sorry if I was being hard on you, I just know how smart you are& I really wanted you to ace that note" "I know Mr hall" "You usually don't mess up like this, is everything ok" ? "I guess I'm just not feeling like myself right now....& with this big recital happening all of my nerves is caving down on me" "I can understand that Victoria, but you need to take a deep breath & play that violin, remember to feel the music in your heart, not your mind" She glares at him with a smile.
