Tour Gone Wrong

When we got to the petting zoo of the park. Which is the most crowded. I saw Grey trying to get a picture. He kept jumping up and asked Zach to pick him up. "I'm not dad and you're not six." I sighed and walked up to Grey and pick him by the waist. "Woah! Thanks Chester, now I can get a good picture!"

I can't tell if his parents are feeding or if he has really high metabolism. This kid is really light either that or I'm really strong. I smirked as I have an idea. "Hey Zach! You wanna be picked up too?" He gave me a weird look. "No thanks. I think I'm good on not being touch by an old man." Ouch that hurts being called old. "Hey! I'm only a few years older than you!" I put the kid down as he ran to the next exhibit.

I had to drag Zach as he was too busy laughing. 0nce we caught up to him I was out of breath. "Kid... don't go running off again. I don't feel like losing my job just yet." He rubbedthe backofhis neck in slight embarrassment. I looked around our surroundings to see where we're at. "Lucky for you, you've found a place near the T-Rex exhibit. We can go if you want. I think the next feeding is soon." Thekid started jumping up and down really excited. "Let's go right now!! I can't wait to see!"

Wow he really does love dinosaurs. I smiled because when I was growing up no one I knew was this into animals. "Okay let's go and try not to throw up in there. We're short on staff today." They nodded not really understanding what I was talking about. From what I've seen so far most people don't like seeing a goat get eaten. Especially vegans.  I remember when the vegan teacher lady tried to sue us on that. For me it was just a screaming match that she lost.

As we got into the building I lingered away from the crowd. They aren't my sort of thing. I saw Zach on the phone with someone. Once he got off he walked over to me. "Hey what's the next dinosaur we get to see?" "Uhh I think the next feeding for the mosasaurus is in twenty ish minutes. It's a five minute walk from here." He nodded and went to go find his brother. I followed him because one I don't feel like losing the pay roll I have and two I have a feeling these two will be more trouble than they let forth.

After searching through the crowd I saw the two and waved them over. "Follow me the mosasaurus feeding is in a few minutes." I grabbed the kid before he could run off again. His brother laughed at how he had to be basically carried the whole way so he wouldn't get lost or run off again.

Once we arrived there were a few people scattered here and there but I knew more were coming so I quickly found some decent seats. The automated voice came on over the speakers announcing when the next feeding was for each of the carnivores. "So how are you guys enjoying the park?" "I think it's so cool how they only started with six species and now have sixteen! Seven carnivores and six herbivores!" He went on about how many tons of food we had shipped in as well. "Well you sure did your research on this park. How about you Zach what do you think?" "I mean yeah it's cool, but are there any like rides where you can see them up close?"

I smiled and looked at him. "I think I know a few but were going on the safest one. Your aunt would kill me if one you guys got hurt." They nodded and looked at the lady who was showcasing the feeding of the mosasaurus. This is our biggest one yet. Not even the indominous Rex can beat here in size. Zach was staring at his phone on a picture of some girl. I quickly took his phone so he wouldn't be stuck on 8t before the mosasaurus would come up. "Hey! Give that back!" I kept it out of his reach. "Not until we're out of here you're about to miss the show." I pointed out that the great beast was about to surface.

I quickly put the phone away in my jacket pocket so it wouldn't get wet. We were drenched in water once she got the shark. We got another look of the mosasaurus under water as she ate. It still amazed me even though I've seen it a few other times.

Time skip

I got them to the geosphere no other ride was like it in the whole world. Sadly a lot of people paid for vip wristbands. So now we're here waiting line. We only Jay one more group to go at least. Grey was buzzing on about random facts that he knows. I listened in and out and saw when the group of girls left it was our turn to get into one of the ball things.

There were three seats. Zach sat on the left, me in the middle, and Grey in the right. It was a bit cramped in here but it wasn't too bad. I was in control while the other two were looking at the surroundings. "Do you know where to even find them?" I stayed quiet as to let the surprise of seeing them up close sink in once we get to the spot.

We were almost there when Grey started to get impatient. "Where are they?" He said that as soon as we got there. There were a lot of herbivores. I couldn't name any of them because I only work with dinner with sharp teeth. We were roaming around for a few minutes until there were words going across the screen saying that the ride was closed. "Alright you got your up close view now let's head back." But before I could even make the thing turn around Zach stopped me. "We have vip access that we paid for. So why not let us get the whole jurassic experience. Plus if you do that I'll ask Aunt Claire go give you a raise when we're gone."

As much as I would like that amount of cash permanently I don't feel like getting in trouble. "Thanks but no thanks." He sighed in disappointment. "I didn't want to do this, but you give me no choice." The kid literally sat on me and took control. "Kid what are you doing?!" He just smiled and looked ahead. "Just getting what I want." He went into the no entry zone even though we had to turn back a while ago. I saw four triceratops.... and the indominous Rex. I noticed that Grey had seen her too but not Zach. I tried to remain as calm as possible to not freak out the kids. I pray nothing bad will happen.
