Also i realized that Gwen and Flash never actually dated, but they are in this story soooo

Peter

Peter felt bad for lying to Maggie. Technically he never promised, but he needed to know what was going on between with Dr.Connors and his dad.

The next day, Peter left the house early and walked out to the city. In just under 10 minutes, he found himself standing in front of the huge, slightly menacing, OsCorp building. Everyone knew that OsCorp was the future of engineering and technology. Now that Peter had slowed down and actually thought about it, there was a very large chance that he wouldn't even be able to get a meeting with Dr.Connors.

"I knew you were going to do something stupid."

Peter turned around and standing there shivering on the sidewalk was Maggie.

"How'd you find me?" he asked, perplexed.

"I followed you."

"Oh of course."

"Hey," she said, "I woke up early on a Saturday for this shit so it better be life changing."

Peter smirked and looked up at the towering building. He wasn't sure if he wanted life changing, but he definitely wanted answers. And this was the only place he was going to get them.

They walked through the OsCorp doors and Peter immediately headed for the reception desk.

"Can I help you?" the lady at the desk asked.

"Uhhh, yeah I'm here to see Dr.Connors," Peter responded.

"Right. You'll find yourself to the left."

Peter just stood there, confused.

"You are here for the internship?" she asked.

Before he could correct her, Maggie said, "Yeah, yeah."

"Okay," the lady responded obviously fed up with the two of them, "You'll find your badge to the left."

Peter and Maggie scooched to the left and scanned the badges.

"Having trouble finding yourself?"

"No yeah sorry we got it," Maggie responded. She grabbed two badges, one saying Rose McGee and the other saying Rodrigo Guevara, and handed the latter to him. "Sorry," she said again to the desk lady, "We're just so nervous."

"Of course," the lady said, her features softening, "Welcome to OsCorp."

Maggie and Peter walked to the left and up a short flight of stairs. There, they met with a small group of people around their age.

"Born from the mind of our founder, Norman Osborn... the OsCorp Tower houses 108 floors of innovation. Our scientific minds are pushing the boundaries of defiance, biomedical... and chemical technologies. The future lies within."

Peter stood on his toes to see the women talking. His breath hitched as he saw it was Gwen Stacy.

She was wearing a white lab coat and had a clip board in hand. Her hair was pulled back in a ponytail. Peter always had a thing for her. It was never going to happen, of course, she was dating Flash, and she had no idea he existed.

Or so he thought.
