Two weeks have passed since Professor Lupin's lesson, it's now early October and the night before the birthday of Y/n Bailey. The cold October air filled the castle and the dormitory of the four girls.
"Are you excited for your birthday Y/n!" Angelina squealed excitedly.
"Sort of." Y/n huffed lightly which caused Angelina to gasp.
"Why not! It's your sweet 16th!" Hazel said with a smile.
"One word." Y/n sighed. "Fred."
"Y/n/n, you can't let Fred limit your life. We'll make sure he doesn't do anything to you tomorrow." Phoebe said which caused Hazel and Angelina to nod and a smile to appear on Y/n's face.
"Thank you girls, I appreciate it." She smiled. The three girls ran to hug Y/n tightly which left all of them smiling.
"So! What are we doing tomorrow then?" Phoebe asked, perching herself on the end of Y/n's bed shortly followed by Angelina and Hazel with wide smiles.
"Tomorrow is the first Hogsmeade trip of the year!" Angelina called happily. Her, Hazel and Phoebe quietly whispered something to each other and left Y/n staring at her three friends with wonder at the end of her bed. Y/n is the oldest of the four friends with her birthday on October 11th, with Angelina being next on October 25th. Hazel on November 10th and then Phoebe, the youngest with her birthday being May 14th. The three turned around to face Y/n with smiles on their faces.
"What are you smiling for?" She asked the three girls that sat on the end of her bed.
"We're treating you tomorrow." Hazel said and all the girls smiled, even Y/n had a small smile.
"You don't have to." Y/n said with a smile to the three friends.
"We insist. It's your birthday! We want to treat you." Angelina added with a wider smile.
"Are you sure?" She asked her three friends who all shared a warm and large smile.
"Absolutely!" Phoebe said.
"And if you deny one more time, we'll have to force it." Hazel said with a warm smile. The four friends engulfed each other into a hug.
"Okay fine. But I'm doing on the rest of your birthday's." Y/n said with a wide smile.
"Deal." The three girls said.
The group talked for a while, ignoring the upcoming OWL exams. The four girls were talking about plans for Y/n's birthday and what they'd get up to in Hogsmeade. Possible ways to avoid Fred on her birthday and what time they are walking up.
"No earlier than 8." Y/n said plainly.
"8!" Yelled Phoebe. "That's way too late!"
"It's a Saturday. I want to lay in." Y/n said.
"No promises." Angelina said with a mischievous smile which caused Y/n to roll her eyes but with a wide smile.
"I give up!" Y/n said, throwing her arms up in the air in retreat. The three others stared at her hopefully with wide smiles, hoping for a earlier time. "7:59"
"Y/nnnnnn!" Hazel groaned with Angelina and Phoebe sighing loudly behind.
"I'm joking, I'm joking!" Y/n laughed happily at the expressions of her three friends. "No earlier that 7."
"Now that sounds more reasonable." All three of them said happily.
"What about 6:59am?" Angelina asked which caused Y/n to roll her eyes.
"Then you'll get hexed into the next century." Y/n threatened which caused the four girls to bust out in laughter.
The night quickly passed with the four girls chatting away until the Y/n agreed to go to bed, with the force and hinting from Angelina, Hazel and Phoebe, who began pushing her down and tucking Y/n in with her blanket. She chuckled silently at her friends before peacefully falling asleep, snuggling herself under her duvet.
