The next two weeks went by in a blur to the four girls. Angelina had a quiet birthday, spending it in her dorm with Y/n, Hazel and Phoebe, playing board games and laughing. Although the burn on Y/n's face has not completely healed, it's lots better than before.

But Y/n has noticed how different Fred has been since her birthday, he's been oddly nice to her. He's stopped pulling pranks on her, stopping his rude comments and even apologising for everything.

"Y/n I'm sorry! Really." Fred said, gliding into the seat next to her.

"I don't want to hear it Weasley, I think you've done enough damage over the last five years." Y/n said, turning away from Fred to face her friends.

"Please Y/n, how can I prove it to you?" Fred asked, gently turning her face to meet his eyes.

"Staying away from me. I don't trust you Fred." Y/n whispered angrily to him.

"I'll do anything Y/n."

"I said to stay away from me. Not sure if you realised, you done this to my face on my birthday." Y/n snipped, showing him her face. "Not to mention temporarily dying my hair pink, throwing dirt at me which stained my new white dress, pushing me into the lake when the squid was right near me, calling me a waste of space, ruining all my books and blowing fireworks in my face."

"I'm sorry for all that Y/n, I really am." Fred pleaded to her, but Y/n wasn't taking any of it.

"Y/n, let's go to our dorm." Hazel said as the whole of the great hall rose after dinner had ended.

Y/n and the girls rose off their seats at the great hall, walking straight past Fred who had looked slightly upset that his attempt to make things better had failed.

The walk to the common room was oddly busy, the stairs were filling with people but the group managed to squeeze their way through next to the golden quad, Annie looking panicked at her three friends then noticing her sister, flinging her arms around Y/n.

"Ann, what's wrong?" Y/n asked, but when she didn't answer, she turned to Annie's best friend.

"She thought she had saw Sirius Black." Hermione Granger whispered, making Annie shake and hugging her sister tighter.

"Hey hey hey," Y/n whispered to her younger sister. "It will be okay Annie, your safe and you have your best friends next to you."

"B-b-but, what if it was him." Annie stuttered as tears prickled in her eyes.

"Then I'll come with you to report it, they'll catch him Ann." Y/n said supportively, crouching down to Annie's level, pushing her face up to meet her eyes.

"Thank you Y/n/n, your the best sister." Annie whispered.

"Your the best Annie." Y/n said. Although Annie was fine, she refused to let go of Y/n's hand, holding it tight.

"Your good with her." A voice said, Y/n turned around to see Fred standing behind her with a small smile on his face.

"I said leave me alone Fred." Y/n snapped, but before he could reply, a familiar voice called out from the crowd of Gryffindors, who have not entered the common room.

"Why isn't anyone going in?" said Ron curiously.

I peered over the heads in front of me, still clutching onto Annie's scared hand. The portrait door seemed to be closed.

"Let me through, please," came Percy's voice, and he came bustling importantly through the crowd. "What's the hold-up here? You can't all have forgotten the password – excuse me, I'm Head Boy"
