Overnight, Big Hit confirms the rumors that a new member will be joining BTS.
In the statement, Big Hit writes:
❝ Hello, this is Big Hit Entertainment.
After putting much thought into consideration, we have decided to add an 8th member into BTS.
We believe this new change will make the group more complete.
We also think by adding a female member, we will reach a new audience and demographic.
BTS themselves are excited about the new member, and the new member expressed her gratitude and promised she would work hard as just much as the boys.
We will have more updates in the upcoming weeks.
Thank you, and please support the new member. ❞
Even if we still don't own who the mystery female fans are their negative expressing emotions about the new addition with the #notmymember.
