The game had finally ended.

No one said anything, but everyone knew that it was a relief that they did not have to put their lives on the line for something as petty as entertainment for the gods anymore. Though, for some, the game was a good event since they could train and get stronger. However, the loss was still bigger than expected. Out of a hundred children who joined the game, almost twenty children died and fifteen were severely injured. Nonetheless, the campers celebrated the ending of such a gruesome event.

Penelope was not so different.

Turned out, it had been over two weeks since she entered the stupid-hellish labyrinth. Ever since then, many things happened one after another. Right after she magically appeared in the camp after being teleported by the handsome stranger who turned out to be Chaos–a primordial god, the first being to ever exist actually–as soon as their conversation was over, the poor girl was swarmed by the other campers. After being bombarded by endless questions and accusations, Poseidon, whether it was an accident or on purpose, decided it was a great time to claim her.

Penelope settled right then and there that she hated her biological father.

The poor girl had not had any rest for a few weeks–not that anyone knew of, and the others really had the audacity to think that she could endure a few hours more.

The torture interrogation went on for a few hours that she almost thought that maybe summoning a mini tsunami was a great idea, but decided against it as soon as her eyes laid upon her twin brother. It seemed like the twin connection worked well with the boy since he pushed himself into the crowd just to greet her and stole her away from the ever-growing campers. Saving herself and the other campers, unknowingly.

Bless him, really.

Now, a week later.

Yes, Penelope rested for a week, did nothing except for eating and sleeping, inside the almost always empty cabin which she shared with her twin brother, without going out and wreaking havoc.

Yes, she could do nothing for an entire week.

Penelope yawned as she tried to open her eyes. Not that she would do anything besides zoning out, a routine she developed after she could not find anything worth doing that could help her with her rest also. After resting for a whole damn week, her body finally felt refreshed. The demigoddess did not even rest or eat anything in that cursed labyrinth, of course, she would take her well-deserved rest and food.

Again, if someone was to say otherwise, she would just have to shut their traps out, no?

Though, with her reputation of beating Clarisse on the first day and being the daughter of the Big Three, who would actually be brave enough to sign an execution day by complaining about her chilling around all week?

Penelope was about to continue her zoning out when a knock was heard. It was not a common occurrence for the young demigoddess to have a guest. So, with a great annoyance and reluctance combined with a piece of curiousness, she walked up to the door, really not expecting anything.

Imagine her surprise when Perseus, Annabeth, Nico, and Will stand outside her door. The combination of the group was supposed to be not great at all with Nico being all dark, gloomy, while Perseus and Annabeth being giddy to tell the reason why they came to her, as well as Will looking calm and collected, almost like a mature parent. However, it was surprisingly pleasant to witness.

Or maybe because I was a big fan.

Probably the biggest factor.

"So, care to explain?" Penelope asked. A bit rude seeing those four were her friends, but she did not care at the moment. She was having a moment when they rudely interrupted. Their faults. Immature, she knew as well.
