Ever tried running away? well if you haven't I've got a little story for you
I'm hiding in the big crowd of people in my village, running from some of the men in my uh so lovely village, and just because they found out about why I always wear this specific necklace, with a crystal I was given once when I was little. Can't remember exactly how I got it though just remember I was at a market with my mum and some lady gave it to me

And that it held the power that I had been trying to keep a secret for now 15 years, and the only reason it came out was because of my now ex-best friend, because she was jealous of me for having it and not her... and to think I really trusted her...
I was drawn out of my thoughts when I heard the men yelling
"THERE SHE IS!!!" One of them said
"GET HER!!!" Another - I assumed was the leader of they're group - yelling
I ran as fast as I could to the forest, it was beginning to get dark so I hid under a fallen tree. And I could hear the faint sound of yelling coming closer, and that was when It all went black.
I woke up tied to a tree. I took a second to take in the surroundings... when I saw a river a little longer from me I burned myself free from the rope that tied me to the tree, I took my bag that was by the tree next to me and ran.
Not seconds later I heard the men yelling again 'Shot' I thought to myself as I ran even faster. When I got to the river I saw a big mountain on one side I quickly ran to the other side of the river the water sinking me down because of the stream I looked back to see the men approaching me terrifyingly fast
I got to the other side and started running again as fast as my legs could carry me since I had been running for a long time now
I heard the men now trying to trick me to stop by sounding like my mama and papa but I knew it wasn't them because they were killed by the same men that were trying to get me now
I was almost to the mountains when I fell and sprained my ankle so I hid before the men could get me... and that was when I realized that I couldn't walk so the only thing I could do now was wait for someone to come and find me
