"C-camilo...?"

TW: burning house with people in it

"Y/n...?" And at that moment I knew where I was

I was at the Madrigals

"Pepa...?" I spoke up looking at her with sadness in my eyes as she came closer "Camilo will you take our guest to the kitchen por favor (please)" he didn't say anything just nodded and then took me to the kitchen. I could see there was something bothering him so I spoke up saying "Hey...? You ok?" It looked like it surprised him a little as he look down at me saying "You don't remember? do you...?"

'Remember what?' I asked as I got a flashback

Flashback

Two kids running around the village of Encanto having fun and laughing when suddenly a man walk over to them making the little boy go in front of the girl but it was no use she was snapped away from the boy by the man.

The girl screams and hits the man and the boy calls for the man to set her down

Then the girl say something the boy never would forget; "please don't forget me Camilo" The boy answered her "Never" as he watched her getting dragged away

End of flashback

"C-Camilo...?" I say looking at the boy in front of me, starring at his hazel brown eyes

And He sets me down on the kitchen counter not saying anything just hugging me

We stay there for a while until he let's go saying "I told you I would never forget you..."

As he says that Pepa comes into the kitchen with the first aid kit, making me look at her confused, she notices my confused expression and just starts smiling at me, taking my foot up looking at it then saying "Julieta's out of town, so this is the only thing we can do right now... though she will come back tomorrow again to heal your ankle" putting the bandage on my ankle making me finch and as I do that Camilo sees taking my hand

"I can see you have reunited," Pepa says with a smile

When Pepa was done Camilo helped me down from the table, and I put my arm over his shoulder, as he put his arm around my waist, giving me butterflies in my stomach, and helped me upstairs to his room

"So...?" he asked as we got to his room

"So...?" I said looking up at him, as he opened the door to his room

"You gonna tell me where you've been this whole time..?" He asked helping me down on his bed

I moved a little gesturing for him to sit down too, he does so and starts playing with my hair while I tell him about what happened the day I was dragged away; "so when I got dragged away I was like really scared when I remembered I still had my necklace on so I tried using the few powers I had at that moment..."

"Oh! yeah, you need to show me your new powers that you've gotten over the years" he said as I continued telling him the story "But I still couldn't control them at that time so it was to no use when he then had taken me long enough away from the village I saw my má and pá standing in the woods, and that was when everything went black... I remember waking up in a new village my mama and papa said that I was not allowed to use my powers unless I really needed to, so they helped me control my powers so I wouldn't accidentally show them to the whole town and every time I got a new power they helped me control it... I thought it was just them showing me that they wanted to protect me... but the only reason was that they were jealous of me and my powers... they even tried to take my necklace but it's somehow protected of some sort so only I can take it off... then a couple of years past so I was maybe 14 and I finally got to get out on my own, but not even five minutes after I got out of my house almost all the boys of the town were surrounding me..."

I could see Camilo getting jealous when I said that last bit 'Did he still have a crush on me or something?' I thought, but I just shook it off and continued with the story "...then after a while of me trying to get past all the boys, a girl came and helped me taking me away from them... then a couple of months ago I finally told her about my powers and of course she got jealous we got in a huge fight where she said 'you get all the boys and then this it's no fair' she then stormed off leaving me all alone, and to myself..."

as I said that a tear fell down my cheek, and Camilo hugged me tight... I kept going telling about what happened after that; with me finding my parents tied to a chair with the men that chased me standing behind them with a touch in their hand ready to drop it if I came any closer

Just then I tried to use my powers to push them away but as I did that they dropped the touch and I ran to my mom and dad as the men ran out of the burning house, I tried to burn the ropes with my fire-bending powers but it was no use because they had used metal and I was just giving them burns on their arms and legs then my má told me to get out of there while I still could and I did

but what I didn't expect was that the men were waiting for me outside so I ran as fast as I could to the middle of the village trying to blend in. And then we're back where I started

I looked at Camilo who was just staring at me then he spoke up saying; "you ok...?" And I reapplied "Yeah I just-" but before I could finish my sentence, Julieta came in the room with some of her famous arepa's she must've gotten home earlier than Pepa thought she would...I took one and my leg was fine again

Camilo and I talked for hours before I felt his head on my shoulder and my eyes becoming very heavy. I eventually give in and fall asleep
