A Night At The Pizzaplex

Chapter 13

Sys was getting bad vibes from the dimly lit location. It was dirty and there were pictures of endoskeletons everywhere. She squeezed Monty's tail nervously, to which the gator reassured her that nothing bad will happen since he was there. When they reached the end of the hall, Sys pushed a nearby button that gave them access to move forward. She coughed and covered her mouth at the dust when the wall slid upwards.

Monty held a hand in front of the little girl to stop her from walking, there was another endoskeleton in their way. They were in some sort of warehouse by the looks of the place. There were boxes named parts and services, conveyor belts that had scattered metals, and more storage containers filled with who knows what. The walls had old paintings that were molding, Sys felt nauseous just looking at it. She glanced at the endo before getting picked up by the gator's tail.

" I can see more of them in the back, I'm gonna need you to be in charge of making a path while I watch these fools, okay? " He instructed as the little girl nodded. Monty sneaked past the endo, covering Sys from its eyes until they reached the back room. With the help of his tail, the little human was able to press the button while Monty moved forward. " Is this how you look like inside? " She questioned the animatronic, holding onto his tail and keeping watch of the endos. 

A warehouse is a place Sys despises, the smoke coming out of the pipes and roaches crawling on the walls gave her goosebumps, who would work in a place like this? " Even I don't wanna know, kid. " Monty ran through the hallways, glancing over his shoulder once in a while to make sure the child was still there. The deeper they went in, the more endos they encountered but there was no way they'd be caught. 

They had each other's backs, Monty led the way while Sys is in charge of pushing buttons to clear up the path. As long as they stay focused, not a single one of those endoskeletons would be able to move an inch. She wondered how many more buttons she had to push, the lingering thought of those things outnumbering them had Sys on edge. Monty stopped running when they reached a small room filled with static televisions, he had a feeling the little girl was malfunctioning.

" Hey, you're holding your breath. " 

She coughed violently while Monty uses his tail to wrap around her waist since she was wobbling. " I'm sorry, I don't like dirty places. " She apologized, frantically observing the room they were in. He took off his glasses and put them on hers, " There, those are tinted so you won't see anything except bright colors. " Sys looked at him confused at how glasses would help her. She looked around, unable to see much but faded colors from the tv screens and walls that didn't have any mold on them.

Surprisingly it worked, the glasses shielded her from seeing too much filthy stuff and she could see the Freddy-shaped button. Monty listened to her string of happy giggles, watching her slip out from his tail and push the button. 

It didn't take long for the two of them to reach the office, this particular one had a theme like the daycare. " We found it! " She mused, dashing towards the table and pushing Freddy's nose on the badge holder. She quickly took the badge, showing it to Monty who was at the door already, " Quick, those things are going to move once we turn the other way. " He wrapped his tail around the child, sprinting out of the creepy office. 

Thankfully the doors led back to where the vent was. Monty had knocked out the spider animatronic but decided to have Sys under him like before just in case. Because of the glasses, the little girl had no idea where she was going so Monty had to carry her with his mouth again before she could hit her head on the fans. 

Once they got out, Sys dusted off the spiderwebs on her dress and the dust on Freddy's top hat. She took the glasses off to give them back to Monty, thanking him for his help. To the gator's surprise, she held his claw for the first time. She wasn't scared of him anymore, no matter how aggressive he was, she knows it was for her sake. They walked back to the entrance of the warehouse, Sys gave him another hug before running off to the red doors, excited to get back to Freddy.

But when she turned around to call for Monty, he was gone.

' Where did he go? ' She wondered, saddened that he suddenly disappeared.

 " I found her earlier and locked her up in Lost and Found. "

Sys crouched down upon hearing Vanessa's voice, she peeked from the windows, seeing Freddy in some sort of enclosed room. 

" That is great news. She can be returned to her parents. "

" She can't. Turns out, there's no record of them. "

" How unfortunate. If you re-attach my head I will go look for her now. "

" Her name is Sys... You know how I know that? Her Fazwatch kept repeating it. In your voice... " Sys? Are you there? Sys? "

" Vanessa, all the Fazwatches sound like me. It is the default voice option. "

" If you're part of this, you're scrap. Monty will run the shows, until Parts and Service can slap your casing on a new Endo. Hang out here for a while. I gotta find that kid. "

" Vanessa, do not leave me like this. "

Sys glared at her, first, she somehow gets the moon thing to kidnap Freddy and now she was blaming him for helping a child. Her heart squeezed hearing Freddy's voice, he sounded like he was in pain. ' I have to get him out of there! ' She nodded to herself, waiting until the night guard was gone before quickly running inside.

" Sys! I am so glad you are here and alive! "

The little girl ran up to the door, seeing the animatronic stuck in some sort of circular room. " Freddy! I'm sorry I took so long. " She tapped on the door, it was open earlier, why wouldn't it open for her? " Use the console to let me out. " Freddy heard her banging softly on the metal, trying to figure out how to get inside. She turned over to the computer, seeing a few words on the screen.

" Welcome to Parts and Service. Please select your desired procedure. "

The power upgrade was the only option she could click on, " Please enter the protective cylinder to continue. " Her eyes lit up when the door finally opened, quickly running inside. " What did she do to you? " She furrowed her eyebrows upon seeing Freddy even dirtier and his head was floating. " Routine maintenance. I am functioning much more better... now. Grammar function error... Perhaps I am still not a peak performance. Could you re-attach my head? "

Sys smiled brightly, " Say no more! " 

She then paused, " How do I do that? " 

" Just reconnect the wires and be careful. I am not quite myself at the moment. " She nodded to his words, flinching at the place suddenly talking. " In case of an emergency, the protective cylinder will protect important service personnel outside of the protective cylinder. Deactivating animatronic safety protocols now. It is recommended that no mistakes are made during the procedure. " She was a bit nervous now because of all the warnings but that didn't stop her from climbing onto Freddy's lap to take a closer look at the wires.

" To reconnect Freddy's head, repeat the correct sequence by pressing the flashing buttons on Freddy's upper body. " Sys inched up forward, leaning on Freddy's chest and watching the buttons light up green, yellow, red, and blue. She pressed them by the proper sequence, backing up when the machine connected Freddy's head to his body. 

" Good job. Now, use the testing console to run diagnostics and complete the procedure.. " She carefully jumped off of the animatronic, going over to the colorful buttons and watching it adjust to her height. 

Red. 

Red. Green.

Red. Green. Yellow.

Red. Green. Yellow. Red.

She glanced at Freddy, his head was twitching every time she pushed a button. 

" Good job. Freddy is all patched up and ready for the big show. You may now exit the protective cylinder. " Sys quickly ran to the computer, finishing the upgrade as she rushed back to Freddy, jumping into the animatronic's arms.

" You did great, superstar! I'm so proud of you. " He caught her perfectly, snuggling the little kid who was teary-eyed, he had no idea how much she missed him. Freddy carried her out of the protective cylinder while the mentioned human looked around the area, " There's a lot of technical stuff here, do you know if there's anything we could use to stop the guard bots? " She questioned, putting back Freddy's top hat on his head before asking to be put down.
