Ruth and John Wick walked into the Continental and towards the concierges desk. The concierge Charon did a double take before he smiled kindly at the two former assassins.
"Mr & Mrs Wick, its a pleasure to see you again. What can I help you with?"
"If it wouldnt be a problem I would like to use my families suite." Ruth smiled sweetly at the man
"Unfortunately, Madam the suite is under renovation at this time. Per your mothers requests... All of our other suites are also in use..But I can definitely offer you one of our finest rooms."
Ruth opened her mouth to argue but John stepped forward to stem his wife's more snobbish tendencies
"That will be fine.. Is management still the same?"
"Of course sir"
John smiled grabbed his wifes arm towing her along towards the elevators.
"And Mr&Mrs. Wick..." The couple stopped.. "Welcome back!"
They both looked back slightly surprised before continueing ontothe elevator where Ruth proceeded to complain
"A room? I have never stayed in anything less than a suite."
John shook his head, his wife was tough as could be, but she was a bit of a snob.
Her mother had taught her that ladies deserved nothing less than the best, even during jobs she refused to stay in anything less than a five star hotel. So sometimes he had to bring her back down to earth.
"You did on our honeymoon." He smirked at her, then walked off the elevator as they reached their floor.
Ruths eyes widened and a blush crossed her cheeks as she remembered exactly what he was talking about
"John, you cant just say things like that!"
