Waiting impatiently to hear your voice again
Exasperated with the reason you didn't respond
Tears falling down in this notebook
Because I don't know how to express myself
Wanting to say " I loved you with the ways you didn't know"
Thinking of how can I make you feel that you're the best person I know
Trying so hard to cheer you up, when you're feeling down
Prayed to whoever god is listening, pleading them to make you mine
Cried when I saw rain fall down from your magnificent eyes
Smiled when I heard your laugh sounding like the relaxing waves in the ocean
But, no matter how often I think
No matter how hard I try to cheer you up
Regardless of how loud I pray
How hard I weep and big a smile
I know for a certain you can never be mine
Here I am, admiring you from afar
Feeling disconsolate beside a lamp
Still exasperated because I still don't know how to tell you that,
