Sambucky

Chapter 3

6 months later, Sam and Bucky were dating for a little under a year. Bucky wanted to really surprise Sam with their last date before proposing. So, Bucky asked Wanda a favor.

"Wanda, I think this is perfect." It was a sterling silver band with a white topaz center.

"It's his birthstone, so I'm sure he'll love it, Buck."

Tonight, the two were going to the movies to see the Hunger Games. Both had read the books for fun and adored Everlark. But when Rue died, Bucky was crying his eyes out. Sam cuddled him some more.

"She was a fucking child!"

"I know Bucky, I'm pissed too"

"Can I literally kill Snow? I'm an assassin so it works."

"He's not real, though."

Bucky passive-aggressively hummed in response.

The movie ended, and they were making out in Sam's car. Didnt take Bucky too long to dominate the back seat and his man.

Bucky knew this was his moment. Sam was curious about what was happening, and how it would unfold. He could tell Bucky was planning something. They both got out of the car and before Sam knew it, Bucky was on his knee.

"Sam Wilson, you have lightened up my life in so many ways that I can imagine. Your so sweet, caring, and very kind. Will you make me the happiest man in the world?"

Sam tackled Bucky and said "Yes! A thousand times yes!!" Bucky slipped the ring on his fiancé's finger. And both responded a passionate kiss.

"Damnit Barnes, I love you so much!"

"Hey, that day you kissed me, I knew we had a future."

Then the happy grooms-to-be came home to a startling "SURPRISE!!!!"

Sam and Bucky were both so confused. Turns out, Wanda and Natasha told everybody about Bucky's proposal.

"Thanks so much, guys!" Sam squealed.

They enjoyed themselves, all of them. And then, they went to the dorms. Laying quietly, Bucky whispered

"I love you Sam."

"I love you more, Buck."

Then they fell asleep in each other's embrace.
