Faiz Anwar and Amira Hashim never took their daughter to work. To Nura's brain, they're both secret agents that won't tell her about their job for her safety. So when they took her out one night saying they're going out to dinner, she did not expect them to leave her with the crowd and go on stage.

And as soon as they started performing, she was entranced. She couldn't look away once throughout the whole show. To her 6-year-old brain, this looked like magic. No, it felt like magic. She could never explain it; the way her parents performed was so mind-blowing. You'd start watching and it would feel sinful to even blink.

The moment the show ended, she knew for sure that whatever her parents were doing, she wanted to do as well.

"It was amazing!" She'd said all the car ride back home and for the remainder of the night. Only stopping after making sure her parents promised to take her to another one of their shows.

When Nura turned 9, her parents managed to get parts in a musical that got them a lot of attention. Of course, Nura went and as usual, she could never take her eyes off  the stage.

At 10 years old, Nura auditioned for the choir at the church down the road. She didn't make it, but she promised herself to try again next year.

At 11, she'd tell you her parents suck.
