Beautiful humming filled the garden on this joyous morning. Terre had woken up quite early to make sure her gardening duties were done properly.

She was the only earth element who helped keep the gardens filled with life and colour. And humans weren't really that responsible at times.. but the ghuleh really didn't mind the extra work! After all that's what she was made for right?

Terre had a specific order she did the flowers in and not everyone would listen to her. She decided that waking up early would be the best thing for her and the plants.
Earth elements always had a strong bond with nature, so she wasn't going to let the rich soil die due to a lack of attention.

"Terre!" A familiar voice yelled out to her. "Don't tell me you're attending the plants already!"

It was the cardinal. "Cardinal!" She said poking her head from one of the bushes. "Shouldn't you be practicing with the band?"

Copia chuckled, grabbing a watering can. He was one of the only people who genuinely listened to Terre's order of business when it came to the garden. Even when it wasn't his duty.

"You know the tiny one I told you about?" He started, watering one of the rose bushes.

"I do, what about him?" The ghuleh asked, pulling out any weeds growing near her precious plants.

"So he got in a fight with Aether, don't know if you know him, again" he sighed. "Well, it was quite one sided but eh"

"Oh! I know Aether!" Terre smiled. "We've talked quite a bit!"

"Sì, so Dewdrop, the tiny one, had gotten mad at Aether for I guess breathing wrong?" Copia chuckled, placing the watering can down.

"Sounds like something little kids would do" The ghuleh chuckled, checking to see if there were any more weeds to pull.

"Indeed! Mia amica, you get me!" Cardinal got up.

"Of course! Just like how you understand my way of gardening!" She responded.

"Did you seriously do the entire garden before the others even woke-?" He thought out loud.

Terre laughed, patting the cardinal on his shoulder. "I in fact did, problem?"

"Oh- not at all it's just that— normally this takes you hours to do- and-" he tried explaining, obviously not finding the correct words.

"I'm just joking around! And it normally takes me so long because of my gardening 'buddies' " she smiled a toothy grin.

Copia returned the smile. "Well I best get going now!" He waved. "See you around, amica"

"Arrivederci!" She shouted back at the cardinal.

He quickly turned back around, running up to Terra. "You know Italian!?"

"I've known since I was little!" She responded. "You didn't know?"

"I just assumed you were repeating me!" He said.

Terre playfully punched the cardinal in the arm. "Alright, enough chitchat. You need to get going!" She nudged him to the door.

"Alright, alright! I'm going!" He laughed, walking away this time. "I'll see you around!"

"Yup!" The earth ghuleh laughed, throwing away all the weeds she had pulled out.

She wiped some sweat from her forehead, looking around the garden for any unattended green life. None. Job well done as always!
This was great for Terre, because it meant that she could just do whatever now!
