"Don't turn your back on me Macy!" my mom says angrily.
"Stop telling me what to do! I'm old enough to make my own decisions!" I was shouting now.
"Don't raise your voice at your mother like that." my dad said.
"Go to hell." I said with so much fury now.
They never understood me and they never will. They never treated me like a daughter. I felt like a puppet who was made to impress them.
I stormed out of the living room and straight to my room. I locked my door and took one last glance at my room before I climbed out the balcony and landed on the grass beneath.
"Are you sure about this?"
"I'm sure." I said reassuringly.
"How about yout your family?"
"I don't have one." I got on my Padigale and revved the engine up. I slung the duffel bag on my back and reached in for one last hug. "Thanks for everything." I said sincerely.
"Be safe."
I nodded and stepped on the throttle. I sped away through the long driveway and felt the cool night breeze that blew my hair back. I made my way out of the mansion and drove past the gates. The road felt so new for the first time. I sped on the highway and thought of all the endless possibilities.
